Can't believe its 5 years already!! I was there - my first weekender since moving back to the UK. My last one before leaving the UK was Wigan Casino final nighters - several of them. Loved this weekender. Been to Blackpool every year since. KTF!!

The Impressions are simply one of the (BEST) that ever did it and it's a blessing to see that they are still around performing their fabulous material. Only Smokey Robinson @ the Miracles can compare with Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions with writing and performing their own songs on such an elite level; as far as, for soul singing groups go.

Felt privaleged to witness Chris turn the clocks back some 43 years, and he's lost nothing!!!...... What a voice, remarkable. The Norman Beaker Band were absolutally awsome, to hear that sax echoing round that stageroom was something special!!! An hour and a half of solid gold...... As for THE WHEEL if Heinekin made soulclubs this would be it!!! THE BEST IN THE WORLD...... Congrats and thanks to Pete and crew for pulling it all off.....
