Are you kidding me? What is up with all these DIY horse treats on UA-cam FULL of sugar/molasses/icing/sprinkles? 1 c of molasses has 182 grams of sugar. DO NOT FEED THIS MUCH SUGAR TO YOUR EQUINE. these are not healthy and founder is caused from sugar/fructose and ponies are especially susceptible.

i will definitely try the donuts my horse is very picky with his treats and I am pretty sure he will like the donuts and the sugar

Anyone have ideas: I ride twice a week and my horse is fine at home but when she is at a show she either freaks out at the first barrel or won’t go to the gate or she takes of in a gallop. I am showing tomorrow but I don’t really want to, my trainer and mother are really trying to make me show so it is partly my nerves and my horse

It is a sport. I am agree with u. AND WE DINT JUST SIT THERE HATERS. AND HORSES DONT DO ALL THE WORK. HAVE U EVER TRUSTED AN ANIMAL THAT COULD KILL U IN ONE MOVE??? Have u ever rode an animal over 1200lb ??? Do u know what's it like to fall off U lift weights. We lift water buckets U run 1 mile. We ride 10 U fall a few inches. We fall over 5 ft And if it's not a sport ten why is it in the Olympics??? For all the people who say it's not a sport. - Lola Susila-

I was doing hurdles in track and I cleared the five that I had to do and I came back to the group of kids in line to do them and I went to back of the line and I heard my friends crush say " she is only good because she jumps on a horse and the horse jumps it while she sits there" and I walked up to him and I said "I ride a very stubborn horse that likes to canter over a 1 foot jump when he is supposed to trot over it, I have to have my heels down far, shoulders back and hands kept still and my legs die when I ride, and I put my self at the risk of falling off or being crushed by a 1,200 pound animal so I probably would never say that my horse does all the work, because I have to struggle with him for him to pay attention" then I walked away from him, and my friend knows I hate his guts now.
