The front of the door panels need to butt up against something to seal. If you install a 2x6 on the vertical edges of the opening, you can install the panels against them, then install the tracks and adjust them easier as the panels will be solid. Also helps it you install long inside 2x6's all the way up to the top of the door travel the the track has a one piece solid mounting surface tied into the framing above the doors
I hope you had fun, We were on power tour this year too. I just subscribed to your channel
We did. Thanks for subscribing.
What size tire?
These are 285/70-17.
not for more than one second did you actually show the product the sponsor sent you. shame on you
While I will agree with you that I never showed the "actual" shift rails out of their packaging, that does not mean I didn't, in my opinion, do a good job at promoting the product. There was no reason to remove them in this episode; because they weren't being installed till a later episode, where they are out of their package. There was no need to take a chance at damage or losing one, when the original parts are identical other than material. I appreciate you watching, I'm sorry you feel I did the sponsor of the episode wrong.
Measure bearing diameters and outside cap dimensions with bearings on and find a unjoint store with an older guy. Many conversions were made. Especially by Neapco
Placed with "older guys" are getting fewer and further between. 😕
cool car sir. do you have drone? did you have the resonator deleted?
There is a whole playlist on it. If there were resonators, they were gone before we got the car. The latest episode we just put a pair of Flowmaster mufflers on.
Wow power tour is a bad joke
Nice coverage
Thanks. It's difficult with that many cars.
@@10footcustoms93 believe I can totally relate
I wonder if this would work on a 75 CB550. I need to redo the starter clutch as it is not engaging to turn over the crank.
I'm 95% certain it will not work on a CB550. The starter sprag design is completely different.
I had that same failure on my 83 1100f back in 2000. I found the actual NOS parts available on David Silver Spares if i recall. But I would surely do the upgrade these days!
What size brake line did you use
great
I like the way you describe the workings. You describe the same way as I do, so I understand. You are talking about the + connection on the coil correct? The + terminal on the coil will have 2 wires on it? What year did the solenoids stop having the 'I' and the 'S' on those two small terminals? Thanks
Yes the + terminal on the coil will have 2 wires on it. I am uncertain when or if the "I" and "S" terminal solenoids stopped being used.
Enjoyed the process of the building going up..…looking forward for more vids 👍🏾
thank you
Great way together a shop space in a long, narrow space. How are you going to use a double garage door so close to your home? Also, what are you planning to keep water from flowing under the wall from the footing outside? Thanks for sharing!
There is 13' between my house and the double door. If I calculated correctly, once it's all cleaned up and parts are organized, 2 cars should, very carefully, be able to pull into the double door. Water is an issue, the city has very specific things I can and can't do; it's going to be tricky.
@@10footcustoms93 I just built a 24x32 stick built shop in my backyard. In addition to using a foam sill seal ( 3.5" wide and 1/4" closed cell foam strip) under the sill plate, I sealed the edge of the bottom wall plate inside and out to the concrete with a bead of Henry's 900 flexible sealer/flashing. It goes on like caulk and dries to a super strong and flexible, rubberized bead. I've noticed that buildings like yours don't come with a 90 degree flashing that your seal to the concrete and the bottom rail or molded foam strips to fill the gaps in the sheeting ribs . The flashingt also covers the bottom rib of the sheeting to keep larger insects/vermin out. There's a lot of options out there and I'm sure you'll find one that works for you!
Looks great! that dirt is definitely absorbing all that light
Thanks, hoping to get concrete in soon.
@@10footcustoms93 that'll look great! Considering an epoxy top coat? White stuff would certainly help with reflecting light up underneath the cars.
@iamonfire1812 not sure on a top coat, it would have to hold up to fuel, oil, brake cleaner, etc. I'm not the cleanest of mechanics, lol.
What u needed to do is level the ground first with a bobcat and then put millings and level it with the bobcat and u have to roll it to compact and wet it just a lil bit....
Thanks for the video
What is that part you called the cip holder? Mine has a piece of one ring sticking out of it?
Keep at it! Patience is the key. Good luck!
Aye up fella, great video , I’ve just bought a 2018 3.2TDCI Wildtrak in the UK £19740 !! looking at doing this on mine , we have a similar version supplied by 4x4AT. Nice you didn’t cut out any of the install to show a perfect time, looks fiddly but with a bit of patience certainly achievable. Thanks again , even after 2years your channel is helping others, stay safe brother💪💪💪🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Love that F150 at the beginning, best of luck.
After 27 minutes the video turns clear, but I liked. I didn't know how easy was to move the "tub" with 3 guys. I have a 1977 Cj5, and want to change my front SEAT to one with air suspension, because my cervical hernias (still looking for información about where to make it). I suscríbete, thank you
Thanks for subscribing. The problem I hear with air suspension seats is available room, especially if you don't have a tilt column, even with custom seat brackets.
I don't think it's muddy enough 😂😂😂
Thanks for watching...and you ain't seen nothing yet, tune into this Sunday's episode.
Hello, great explanation. On my 1961 F100 it's a wire which itself is the resistance which goes from the ingestion switch to the ignition coil and I wanted to replace it because a ceramic resistance like yours with normal wire, did it work this montage for you?
It works perfectly.
@@10footcustoms93 Thank you !
Very difficult job alright but I got the job done. Great video, well done.😄
love it!
Thanks for watching. More to come.
Dude, your bearing looks fine. The back side of the bearing isn’t that important, the inside is what matters. The side that touches the crank itself is the bearing surface and if it is in good shape, you should be fine.
Fun motors to work on, Done a few sr's and rb's
Check the pedal bracket before you tear it down again. A bent bracket will cause the clutch master to not engage clutch nor allow to shift into gear unless engine if off. The factory aluminum brackets always get torque twisted after years of the clutch pedal being operated. Just takes the slightest bend in the pedal assembly bracket and the master cylinder can't do its job. Other than that its 50 / 50 the disk is backwards. Happens.
They never showed us much
Yes I agree. Please watch the next episode that comes out on the PRI Show and I explain why.
I wanted to let you know i like your channel man! Me and my dad are crazy about these old cj's to he has 3 cj5's and 2 cj7's we are about to put a new straight 6 and t176 tranny in his 83 Laredo! But i want to see how much power i can get out of a straight 6 bye building it about like you did that engine last year! Were you impressed with the power out of that motor when you were done?
Thank you so much for watching. I'd love to tell you that Rusty's engine has tons of power, but I do not know yet. Lol. Other projects, like Ruby, and a few other on the channel have taken Rusty's time. But huge reveal coming to the channel in the next couple of weeks, hopefully. Then Rusty will be getting more work done on him.
Check the pedal. Originals came with aluminum that bends over time. Fiero store has steel replacement.
Found the adjustment on the aftermarket master was way out. This one does have a metal pedal assembly.
My kit came with 3.5 coil overs and rear shocks.(Fox). Also in kit was front diff drop kit, upper control arms, and new rear shackles. 2019 Ranger lariat was lifted 3.5 in front. One inch in rear. Love the upgrade from FX4. Night and day. Cost 2,500. Did it in my driveway on car ramps, no issues.
you need the front diff drop kit with a 3.5 lift from bds
Great video. I think the leveling kit, with bigger more aversive tires, a tune, exhaust, CAI, Blowoff Valve and this grill are mandatory in order to making the Ranger look bad ass and go fast.
Main place to check for rust on a fiero is behind the trunk carpet in the corners. The corners rot out as well as the frame rails under them. That was a pretty rare spec car when it was new, metallic blue was only offered in 87 and not too many of them around, pair that with the luggage rack deck lid and 5 speed couldn't have been too many like that. Real rare to see a fastback with a luggage rack.
Yeah this one is in pretty shape, but perfect for a 17 year old. I was kinda curious as to the rarity of a fastback with a luggage rack. I personally don't think in all my years I've ever seen fastback without a spoiler.
Fun cars. I have 2 myself i have been working on. Keep at it guys!
What carb are you running?
I believe it is a knock off Carter BBD. The PO had it in the boxes of parts when I bought Ruby.
Thanks!
First off, that cam shouldn’t have been installed without lube. Next, there’s no way in hell I would have left those in… I realize this video is old, so interested to see how it turned out for you? You torqued the main caps out of sequence as well.
That’s great that you managed to get the lock cylinders replaced but your video lacks the specifics about what you’re (we’re) supposed to do with all the springs and “C” clips. I have a similar problem with mine except I can’t reposition my key in order to get the key out of the door. Now when I drive around I have door key sticking out of the lock 😂🤣 A closeup video of “rebuilding” the lock cylinder would have been very helpful.
Classic Tube makes a complete stainless steel brake line kit, already bent ( just remove the shipping bends) and hook it up kit number JE1030-S
Yeah, I'm not sure who's kit this one was; my other CJ7 project has the Stainless Inline Tube kit.
You could have used a bit of grease on that pilot bushing while installing the transmission. You guys were playing around with dropping that engine, why didn’t you get a chain bro? Ratchet strap slipped, I was like holy shit! There it goes! I’ll be doing the same next year I hope… I’ve already built the engine, check my channel, video of engine on there, I only have 2 videos, won’t be hard to find. I’ll be watching, good luck with everything and please, work safe my friend… not worth crushing a hand, landing on a foot or messing up your backs. 🤙

Congratulations, it seems very difficult, you need magic fingers
I love old Honda scooters, I just hate the fact that there is no under seat storage. Sort of defeats the idea of owning a scooter which are great for short errand trips.
