that was a TERRIBLE car, TERRIBLE, now, if you want a REAL PK AVE, the 1980 pimp version was it, the car was HUGE, GIGANTIC, the inside was PLUSH PIMP RED VELOUR. It rode like a cloud and got single digit mpg.
I sold him my 84 park Ave, “last of the big ones”. So he’s got the good one as well as its predecessor. Its cool to see them, but once they went FWD I’m out lol

I had an 88 LeSabre T-Type. Same hood, similar lights., just two doors and fast as hell. Thing felt like I was driving on a cloud. Let my girlfriend drive it to Taco Bell. Came back with the front end smashed.

I've lusted after one of these for years. Even here in the UK I can appreciate the graceful and elegant design. Beautiful car which (so I'm led to understand) were available in right hand drive (for a price). The gorgeous plum coloured example here is particularly striking and that exhaust note is musical.
