Thank you for this. You are an inspiration Robin. I have just started my part time PhD study with Birmingham and I am 63. I wonder how many there are of us over 60?
Thank you! 🧐 I'm not sure how many of us there are in the over 60's bracket . . . Maybe we could start a new trend! Seriously though, I do think we 'oldies' have a great deal to offer to younger students - all of that life-experience of the world of work for one thing . . . What is your PhD focussed on I wonder?

Awww - thank-you! I hesitated before putting my head above the social media parapet . . . There are probs others who think that becoming a student at 66 is really weird! Personally, I'm enjoying every minute of it - and everyone I meet at UoB has treated me with kindness and generosity. Onwards and upwards!

Need to have more practical support at Pritchatt’s Park, as well as the Vale. Students at PP are behind the curve this year following the later check in.

Please note that all students who are living in Prichatt's Park should have received an email from their College detailing the different events and activities for students checking later in during Welcome Week. Remember, Welcome is just the start - throughout your first few weeks and months at UoB, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to get to know your surroundings, meet and make new friends, and learn more about your course. Keep an eye on your Student Comms channels to keep in the loop with what's happening on campus.
