Interensly enough that it works even better than the PS3 version, and you can access this menu in the Xbox 360 version multiple times, PS3 version crashes after one install So, we can say that Xbox 360 version works more stable with this menu, with the fact that only PS3 version has all the files for it??? 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 All the work was made by @ivaschia

Yeah! It is the Retail, build but I'm using the xex from the prototype build, to be able to use the debug tools. Also the Prototype (14 October) have slightly different layout then you see in the retail version Translated Debug Menu by Glitchgod0 Can be found in the mission called "Tower Terror"

I really appreciate how the final version doesn't have this bc I would have been bashing my head with walls all the time on my first playthrough, it makes sense that wii version has it since the boost is short but stronger, I do think that boost fits for this

How is the 360 version more stable despite the PS3 version having all the files required for the menu to work?
This shows that connection between dimps and sonic team were, let's say, not very okay, because they still used this mechanic, even though it was slowing down all of the gameplay, while sonic team realised and removed it but didn't awared Wii devs
This is shockingly way ahead of the curve, PS4 and PS5 do this where it just installs the game from the disc and uses the disc as a license check in order to make everything run faster without disc read times. I didn’t even know this was POSSIBLE on a PS3.
@@Goat0423 It was possible for the limited amount of games, for example MGS4. But most of the games were not supporting this feature, because of the fact that Sony were thinking that installing games on the hard drive, will lead to finding exploits in the system 👁️
Ironic achievement, considering the biggest reason people keep recommending the mod is that they think StH sucks.
For anyone wondering, this is a used thing in Unwiished and also unused in Generations(restored by modders). In Gens, it is an exact copy of this(Which makes sense, it is likely just a leftover). In Unwiished tho, it is actually slightly more extreme because the "bonk" is just the reaction for crashing into a wall with medium speed. If you actually boost into it full force, there is a unique reaction where you briefly flatten against it and pop off, which takes slightly more time.

Hey! Nice tutorial but id suggest you to not use glvl as its a longer process instead use rippingtoolgui which is much easier!
@@Anshumanplays_It_Gaming I had a problem that through Rippingtoolgui animations was never working for me, it always was just a T-Pose. But maybe I will try again, thx!

This was already been a feature to Sonic 2 prototype but it got removed since it's too annoying
I understand its beta animation but just like a small tweak so hes not immediately getting up would make it feel a lot better
interesting, having it digital would probably make it run a lot better on physical PS3, at least a little bit
no it wont. the performance has no correlation to loading times. sonic unleashed' performance issues do not stem from asset streaming

Unleashed for Wii if you ram into a wall while boosting, allows you to recourse by cutting your boost animation instead of rubbing yourself into that wall until boost ends.

Anyone who thinks this shoulda stayed in the game is out of their mind. It was the right creative choice to get rid of it, regardless of skill level. This would have been extremely annoying to all level of players.

This is also unused in generations but gen’s animation transitions are so badly programmed that sonic instantly stands up after stumbling instead of a breif moment where sonic tweens to standing, i thought unleashed would make sonic instantly play the get up animation.
0:37 for someone who's bashing their face in, he sure sounds like he's having a good time.
I'm glad they removed that, it would be extremely frustrating especially when we're still learning the layout of the stages. In Sonic Unleashed on PS2/Wii it was already a bit annoying and the boost wasn't even endless like in the PS3/X360 version.

Reminds me of that wall crash animation in Sonic 2, maybe it's a good idea to keep this stuff unused for Sonic games... or only on the wii/ps2 version of Unleashed lol. Thx for the video!
