    Thank you for your video. How do you adjust the minimum value of the y axis? I want to start my graph chart at 100 and go up. I don't want to start at zero.

    • @DataDesignStyle
      @DataDesignStyle 14 днів тому

      That’s a good question. I don’t see a way to set a minimum (or maximum) value for the y axis. When I can’t format a chart the way I want, sometimes I will create the chart in Excel and then paste an image of it into Canva. I realize that's not a perfect solution - sorry not to have a better answer! - Catherine

    This is very cool, but is there a way to have multiple colours based on value please?

    • @Gapiedaan
      @Gapiedaan 19 днів тому

      Yes, in that case you can add another column next to "At or Above 65" with a new condition that you define. Now you have three conditional values, make sure to make them mutually exclusieve. Exactly one condition must be true, the others must be NA(). You can repeat this process as many times as you want.

    hi! thanks for your videos. Do you possibly know if I can put textures on the bars? I need to make them colorblind friendly (not only with colors)

    • @DataDesignStyle
      @DataDesignStyle 4 місяці тому

      Hi. This is a good question. I can not find a way to add texture (or patterns) to the bars on a chart in Canva, only solid colors. Your best choice is probably to create the chart in another app, like Excel, which allows texture on the bars. Then copy the Excel chart into Canva as an image. If the number pak visitors of Jul and aug are the same, how should we edit it?

    • @DataDesignStyle
      @DataDesignStyle 4 місяці тому

      If I understand your question, how would the chart look if the number of park visitors in July and August are the same, meaning the Aviary opening (or closing) in August did NOT change the number of visitors? In this case, you could circle the data points for both July and August to emphasize this. In the first example, make the title for the New aviary something like “New Aviary Fails to Attract More Visitors” …. and for the second example, make the title for the Closed aviary “Aviary Closed but Park Still Popular”. Please let me know if this doesn’t answer your question. Thanks! - Catherine

      @DataDesignStyle 5 місяців тому

      LOL. If you mean showing the percentage complete and data bars in two separate columns, I included that option at the end of the video just in case it is needed. It probably doesn’t make sense when the value is percentage complete, but you never know when a client may request it that way. I do agree with you, it usually makes more sense to show the values in the same cells as the data bars. - Catherine
