Thornton Hough is located towards the centre of Wirral and is within a largely undeveloped, rural setting. It is a compact settlement, built during the late 19th and early 20th centuries as an ‘estate village’. This morning just after 6 am, I left the shoreline on a walk in search of a shipwreck. The walk out is just under 1 mile across mainly flat sands and took about 18 minutes. The wreck is only visible at low tide of 1m or less so this mornings tide was perfect. I have heard about this wreck multiple times, seen photos and videos but have never visited myself until today. I think its terrible what with all the graves at this place they couldn't have used some of the burial money to put a new roof on this fantastic old church such a shame

Well flown and edited, I parked nearby to get some photos of Bidston Observatory when I first started but only had a single but flat battery. The amount of Freemasonary insignia inscrbed into the church is quite amazing as well as some of the ornate graves. I need to go back sometime.
