Why cant we hear diastole during palpitation
Cheer~~~wrap in several layers of fabric.😊
just what i was looking for strait to the point thank you
This is nothing and pain in constant and patient wont let you do this !!!
Please do not wrap the entire arm
Wrong measurment
Would be nice to raise the pants leg for the popliteal. Nonetheless, Thanks
Okay, so is it the first "thump" you feel, or the last?
Great easy to understand video. Thanks for your videos
You know scouting?
The best explanation thank you so much ❤️
Thank you sir🫡
Really nice video and I appreciate your efforts.

Nice
My Pcp uses this technique for systolic but still listens for diastolic. He's the only medical person I go to who does this. Makes sense.
The vedio has been very helpful thank you ❤
Jerose
It’s a great skill and especially for deaf and hard of hearing EMT’s
Great video, would be nice to have one on people that it’s a bit chubby where it’s harder to find the brachial
Great…I learned this in Nursing School but forgot. Glad to find…
Why we can't take diastole by using this method??
As the cuff pressure decreases more towards the diastolic pressure, the pulse becomes too faint closer to normal pressure, and then the cuff pressure falls below the diastolic bp, so you wont be able to distinguish it
Basically the diastolic is the "relaxed" pressure, the minimum pressure in the arteries, and cannot be felt through palpation because it is in between heart beats
Amazing work!
Hi Pat & Lee!
I am in school for EMT to paramedic eventually and work as NEMT this video helped wonders thanks medical Instructor Peter griffin you've helped me tremendously I share this video with all my class mates and medical personnel I meet on the job
In palpetion we can't find diastolic pressure
Such a nice pt. Hardly any cursing barfing thrashing...
cool beans
Our lecturer today said that when the puls stop thats the systolic and when the beats returns thats the dystolic I dont even know what is the right😅
I tried to argue that in class and had a solid battle I feel like this is true
Thx man 💜💜💜
Hadir kawan
Really helped me a lot thanks so much
Good short video and got straight to the point
My Baby Looks Hot Tonight
Thank you
oh god
The pt laughs all the time😂😂
Hold fingers to left wrist? Then count beats from arteries to 1 minute? Then how do I calculate my blood pressure? Watched 5 videos now and I still don't know lol sheesh!
Waste
Jesus this is a terrible instruction. Please delete this. You may as well yank the leg and call it a day!
thx
Shouldn't you tie first at the thigh and ankle and knee as last?
it shouldn't really matter what part you tie first, situations might obviously very depending on the injuries and a million other factors but as long as the splint is secured it should be fine.
i was taught to tie the joints first to ensure minimal movement
Thx man
Honestly that method is trash.
This video shows the Hare vs STS and doesn't show the Sager. But I think you'll still find it compelling. ua-cam.com/video/JK9GYCz2ido/v-deo.html
Please have a look here if you have a few mins. ua-cam.com/video/JK9GYCz2ido/v-deo.html Swapping to the STS or STS-C will make your and your patient's lives easier and better. Way fewer contraindications and you don't need X-ray vision prehospital to apply.:)
Awesome technique. I use this anytime I have one of these.
How much time do you need to wear a slung after a shoulder dislocation? Or after how many days you need to remove slung?
Ok but what about: - partner pull traction manually - Measuring the sager to the other leg - applying traction 10% of body weight up until 15lbs (so anyone 150lbs or more gets 15lbs of traction). - cravats to immobilize injured leg to non injured leg
