Hello, quick update; Christine Rebstock predictably found this video yesterday and her response to it on her social media pages is as pathetic and delusional as her comments in the interview that I discussed. By calling me a TRA (trans rights activist) in an attempt to embarrass me over disagreeing with her and deliberately missing the point of this video in the process, she has proven to her followers that I was correct about everything I said about her views. It isn’t surprising because she’s done this before to other people and the Hartford Courant, but having this happen to me gave me a greater appreciation for my First Amendment rights. I voted early the day before as well and it feels amazing to not let people like Christine frighten me into silence. If you really want kids to be left alone, maybe take your own advice and actively listen to concerned families because a candidate running for public office slagging off a random voter that’s worried their ideals are hurting people will make them look even worse. Edit; she got what she deserved and lost her election bid to incumbent 33rd House District State Representative Brandon Chafee. His concern for the environment in addition to his commitment to reforming the state's healthcare system spoke to me and I'm thrilled to see him serve his part of Connecticut for years to come. Thank you to everyone in that district who voted for him. :)
