Here's "Edelweiss" from the Sound of Music on this new mandola that I got last week from Northfield Mandolins. I have played a lot of Northfield instruments, and this is definitely one of my favorites. This tune always feels like a winter lullabye to me.

This is awesome! I'm definitely going to show this to my musician friends. I'm a big fan of the Punch Brothers, the Arcadian Wild, and similar modern "bluegrass" bands, but I've kind of burnt myself out on the genre. This is something new and fresh, and it sounds great. I'm going to check out the rest of the album.
