The Friends of Toliara is a voluntary organisation whose purpose is to foster meaningful relationships with the Episcopal Diocese of Toliara and to enable the Diocese to fulfil its vision of growing and moving forward in Christ. We work with and alongside the people of the Diocese.
The Malagasy name for us is Longo EEM Toliara:
Longo is the local Malagasy for translation of friend
EEM is Eklesia Episkopaly Malagasy (the Episcopal Church of Madagascar, a part of the Anglican Communion Worldwide)
Toliara is the administrative area covered by this Anglican Diocese in the south of Madagascar.

The new school building at Marodo Ankilemasy (donated by St James the Less, Northfield, Illinois) was dedicated on Thanksgiving morning, 23 November 2023. Here you see the cutting of the ribbon to open the school. the ribbon is in the colors of the Malagasy flag.

The new school building at Marodo Ankilemasy (donated by St James the Less, Northfield, Illinois) was dedicated on Thanksgiving morning, 23 November 2023. Speeches of thanks were given to St James the Less by the school principal, the president of the village, and a representative of the church.
