Thanks again for watching and the comments. I've been using SMDV for almost 15 years with the DIFF-40, but really got on board with the Speed Box series, because it was soooooo much faster than the profoto RFI boxes. Now I'm onto the FLIP series! Great quality and innovation.

Oh ok, this is excellent information thanks. Just out of curiosity, does the Bansa offer roughly the same amount of brilliance and quality of reflectve light as your original lerge eyelighter?

@YogaLifeEtc I will say the biggest difference as far as quality, goes to the arc design, is in the catch light in the eyes. It's a more natural aesthetic than the squared away shape. Not enough for most clients to notice IMO. And not enough of advantage over the flip design

Also, the last three images in the video are one from each reflector, I want the viewer to determine the difference of which is which.

The check in is much bigger. Think standard suitcase size, but with the sleekness of the carryon pro. That said, for 2 weeks and you KNOW you're gonna check baggage, I'd consider getting one of the rolling "trunk style" cases. I think Away has one. I really like them because they are slightly narrower, but taller/ longer when laid down, but still within all the dimensions. This makes sense when your carrying things like boxes or more bulkier clothes and shoes and talking about multi week travel. Planning a 2 week train trip to in South Africa next year and won't be able to do laundry for at least a week. If course depends on climate and region. I've packed 2 weeks with carry on pro and am Aer TP3 small, but that was VERY creative and going to a warm weather climate.

@LeightonDPhoto what's that tp3 and is away a brand I'm looking to spend on flight check in and carry out for clothes I saw the fredrick with a bag u can put on a handle I can do that and carry a weekend bag too but if u know anything better

@frankyaguero2929 the Travel Pack 3 Small (28L) from Aer. Amazing backpack, and can fit on the handle of the CF. Idk if Away is or not. I've been sitting on the fence about getting the trunk to see what else is out there, but I like the design of the rolling trunk in general. Apologies for not having more information.

@frankyaguero2929 further apologies... it was the July case, not the Away (but they both end in Y, right?) Just looked online and see that Tumi has one that looks like a fancier Rimowa case, and DOESN'T have zippers! But it is a few hundred more than the Rimowa.

Hey Danny, I think it needs to be unlocked to reset.... which I think would take a TSA key to unlock the case if its locked shut. Other than that might want to contact CF. I have found their customer service to be HIGHLY responsive

Brought it to Jamaica a few weeks ago and have a video coming up on it. Quality wise, it has really held up... especially the wheels. Rolling over rough terrain, then back at the airport, smooth as glass! Hinges have been great and so has the locks and seals.

IMHO: I don’t think that it is an over site as much as a design feature. This is designed to be carryon luggage. The implication of which is that it will be with you or under your control all times (i.e.; either in your immediate possession or in the overhead compartment). As such, the access panel is designed with easy of access in mind, not security. That having been said, I was able to loop a luggage security lock through the zipper handles on the access panel, securing my laptop with relative ease. Problem solved.

@norrinRadd026 My issue is that sometimes I leave the suitcase in my hotel room, or check it with the front desk if I have an early check out but a late flight. And sometimes the overhead bins are full and they make you check your carry-on anyway. Customers shouldn't have to make these compromises at this price point.

@@norrinRadd026 that's kinda what I initially thought, but on all my Thinktank Photo and AER backpack styled bags, I've had interlocking security zippers. Like someone else said, it's probably going to be an updated item in the "v2." That being said, after traveling last week to Jamaica with it, I would choose the pro version over the standard. Plenty of room to open up the access and stash things in before going through security if this is the only luggage you're rolling with.

I'm in the market for one of these and it looks like the latest version eliminates the USB charging capabilities altogether, which I'm okay with. Sadly, still no lock on the front sleeve.

It should fit... the actual sleeve spot is around 16x11 inches.. and the laptop compartment is about 17x13... I think 15 is easy to fit in there, but a 17 inch might be a little snug depending on what the dimensions are.
