My favourite trick and that's do to the amount of time it took me to learn it, How I do it is putting a bit more weight on the back foot and having the front foot closer to the popping area

You got it, just full send it. Your flip foot is going straight to the ground and not staying up. Even if you land on it upside down or primo it's better because you are training that front foot to stay up. Your regular kickflips look great! You got this! 🤘🔥🤘 Live2Sk8

Focus on the flick and turning your ankle when it reaches the pocket. Make you sure you don’t flick downwards bc youll have to unlearn that. When ur about to pop, make sure most of your weight is on your flicking foot too
