I even got myself a t-shirt with, 'E.B.E.' printed on the front of it! It is a great episode that has so many classic X-Files elements included in it. You also picked a great, 'gorgeous Mulder,' moment. This episode is a great showcase for multiple appearances of a favourite Mulder feature of mine - that stray lock of hair that falls over his forehead in such a fetching way ( 🧡 !)

I'm from this area. It didn't go back to how it was before. Industries closed, the Valleys were filled (and still are filled) with ghost towns. High unemployment meant a rise in crime, and generations grew up without hope, ambition or aspirations; nihilistic degeneracy became the norm, because sod it all. Socialism and Christianity once united a people in their shared struggles, but now people teeter on the brink of fascism. Also, this film does a bit of a disservice to the Welsh people in the town. The folks involved in the leadership of the movement had far left views, they'd been involved with 'Ban the Bomb' protests, not exactly the type of people to be shocked by the existence of gay people.

Pretty much every character except Bromley were real people. The 1980s was a very different time- ingrained prejudice, scary time with the emergence of AIDS, rather like Covid. Also the miner’s strike and riots in working class areas were happening in Britain- Murdoch press (same owner as FOX) were Margaret Thatcher’s attack dog along with all the others. There is another British movie - Brassed Off! The movie is based on a real Colliery band and it’s mine during the miner’s strike. Stars Ewan McGregor.

You finally finished one of my favorite shows of all time

The show started when Diane and BoJack's friendship started, and it ended when it ended. I think you nailed it. Everyone has moved on from making BoJack a centerpiece of their lives. Bojack has found a little peace but he's still tempted by his old life and worries he'll fall back into old habits. So realistic. As another commenter said, life goes on. Every day is a new struggle. You never get a happy ending, because there's always more show... until there isn't.

That battle between the Gods was awesome. I love Gaia showing up at the end disgusted with everyone and unleashing Typhon. I hope we get a season 3 it would be awesome.

There were a few times where the Robot Devil watermark on the video matched up perfectly with Fry or Bender's body.. and it was awesome. I really, really love this episode and thought it was a great finale. It took me a really long time to even watch any episodes/movies after this because I was so worried it wouldn't quite feel the same. Maybe it's just nostalgia because I used to fall asleep to 2 episodes of Futurama every night when it was on Adult Swim and it was only these seasons, so it was what I was used to, but.. it doesn't "feel" the same to me after this. There's definitely some good stuff after this point - buuuut not quite as many. I'm curious how you'll feel though since you don't have the nostalgia attached to it. 🤷🏻‍♀

The best finale the series had. Too many quotable lines.

Sharona's missing from the AA meeting. I suspect that didn't help the other people there feel forgiving towards Bojack.

One of the most underrated finales

this is the last episode i left the series on. i think i saw one or two of the movies that were after this, but thats it. i always liked this show and was scared the newer seasons wouldn't be as good. the movies i don't remember being too bad but they were pretty weird.

the first finale for the show, as it was not renewed by Fox at the time. Comedy Central picked it up again for some movies 5 years later.

So yeah, there was the scouts episode which had a dumb crappy message about letting organizations discriminate against sexualities, and then there's a few episodes about climate which are now dumb because obviously it is a problem (but at least they're still funny)

You need to remember that Sara is autistic so she has difficulty picking up on social cues. For Sara she just answered the questions honestly, there was no ill will towards Felice or trying to get clout for herself.

Jimmy Jr. is sort of an on-again, off-again love interest for Tina. She consistently crushes on him throughout the series but is gifted with a few other "opportunities" in various episodes haha. I hope that's not considered a spoiler! <3 I feel like it's kind of a relief to see her talking to other dudes here and there since Jimmy Jr can be so hot-and-cold about how he feels about Tina.

You remind me a lot of my older brother, he passed away in 2017, he had a loving heart that everyone around him could feel, he had great charisma, he was the life of the party, if anyone needed help of just a friend to talk to he was there, I could keep going on but in just a video you show all of those characteristics. Keep up the amazing work, I'm about to Binge Watch your South Park and Futurama so my weekend is set to be Great!

but if you dont watch the hypnotoad to the end you might end up having problems following the plot of later seasons and get the connection to reappearing characters...
