@ you the man. Appreciate it
holy moly! What are you planning to do with that?
@@alienxyt catch all the fish! Honestly though this is my 2025 national event ride.
@@realdiehlfishing Good luck!
I cut my 63 kraken down to 36. Pretty easy process. My xtr will hit 6.4 consistently on 36v.
that's really great info, thanks for sharing - did you take it to a garmin shop, or self work
@@realdiehlfishing I did it myself. Take 1 inch flat bar and slide it down the shaft to protect wires. After it's cut set the head back on the shaft and and use a drill bit the same size as the head bolts to cut your bolt slots. There's enough room in the head to store the excess wire. Remember to keep the same amount of wraps on the on the wire that goes around the shaft. This is because the shaft will recenter after it turns more than 360 degrees.
@ appreciate the share
Looking great
@@jashof1 appreciated - really getting the itch bad to get it floatin
I bet!
Better not flip it!
Meh… 😂
Man that thing would give my bass boat a run for it's money
@@garystewart5662 tourney kayaks will do that, lolz!
👍 ! !! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
So great… nice job. I am rigging two XTRs in March (which was as soon as I could get them here in Minnesota). I wonder if you could answer two questions for me: 1) are you going to cut the shaft of the Garmin trolling motor? I am considering the powerpole Move at 36” but would love to have the forward facing sonar in the trolling motor for simplicity’s sake. 2) love the idea of a bilge pump… can you elaborate on how you did that and what product you are using? Thank you again… awesome job.
@@MichaelLawrence22 dropping my next video in about 5 mins…. Long of short, unsure if I’m chopping the motor yet or not, thinking hard about it, will likely inquire to get it done and compare those notes with it on the water and see what happens. On the bilge, I don’t have any good content on it. It’s attached to a foam block under the front battery tray. I have not built the bilge exit yet. More to follow.
@ okay. Thank you. Will be following your build closely. Thank you again.
Awesome fishing!! Great channel too I’ll definitely subscribe
Are you going to cut the shaft on the Garmin?
Unsure yet… may not be necessary since I plan to stand on this so much.
@@realdiehlfishing Right on. Looking forward to seeing that thing on the Bonafide.
@ stay tuned, it’ll be soon, if all goes well, should be tomorrow.
Love the work so far, slowly working on mine for the winter
Really looking forward to seeing how the kraken does on this. I'm looking at the XTR130 just because it seems like it could be a good platform for the kraken. For my build, I'm hoping that I won't need a stern motor. I'd be using this for trolling for salmon in puget sound... so a little different than the bass fishing most of these boats are going to do.
I’ll make sure I get a video up with it on the water soon. My quick release for the kraken was supposed to arrive today, now it says Monday. 😢
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Fishing online has those new foot peddle steering controls in stock now
Unfortunately I missed them, fortunately Muddy Bay got me hooked up - just awaiting delivery now.
Just ordered....hopefully they really have them in stock, thx for the heads up.
Got tracking number for pedals
Just got my XTR 130 as well, absolutely love it....doing my build and can't wait to see how you configure that rear deck to hold the BlackPak, because I want to do the same thing...just waiting to see what other XTR owners are coming up with. I got the boonedox bar as well.....I'm using the YakAttack LockNLoad system on it for my dual Garmin 93sv's, so I can remove it really easy. I have the bonafide bow mount plate installed....super easy, plug n play for my xi3. I got the NK300 for the back, just waiting on the bonafide Wizard FCS pedal to release, so I can get this boat configured for pedal steering. YakHobby has a pretty cool transducer mounting system for the XTR 130...might want to check it out. Can't wait to see what you come up w/ for enhancements....great content, keep it up!
I have pictures of our build in my FB/IG stories and the finished product over there in a short vid. We are still gonna do some mounting work on the box (a rear hatch and my rod holders) but it came out super solid. The only that could amke it better would be to have it in the harder trolling motor mount style material. Thanks for the tip on transducer mount, i'll take a look.
@@realdiehlfishingI like the design, can your buddy getrecdfishing make another one for me? I have a blackpak 16” x 16” that I can’t turn the seat around and this is exactly what I need…can you provide specs or can I buy one?
@@HennesseeFishing i'll ask him, no promises - i'm trying to see if i can get boonedox or bigadventures to pick it up and make it on their own. The HDPE board we used by itself was around 100 bucks alone.
@@realdiehlfishing Awesome....Just let me know what it will cost, did you like the thickness of the HDPE board, or would you go thicker? I can be a test for whatever you/he come up w/ as well on my XTR.
fyi....they released the Caddy accessory and the computer plate yesterday.....just fyi....still waiting on FCS pedals
Man that thing is sweet!9
thanks bro!
Always a pleasure to assist on these builds!
You the man brother!!!!
That thing looks beastly
@@garystewart5662 it’s gonna be amazing!
Lol, kayak matched toenails!!!
It broke the internet on the other platforms, might as well let it take a swing here
where can I get those wiring rubber grommets?
Look up Hobie Thru Hull Wiring Kit on Google and it will show you a number of places that sell them.
Awesome job!!!
Congrats on the win Josh! Great recap, keep slayin' 'em! FJB! 😎👍
Congratulations.
Josh, You are a hammer. I am so glad to know you and so happy that you are part of our little fishing club. Your success and how you pass that along to rest of us only makes us all better anglers as well. I feel very confident in saying that I believe that 2023 will only bring you more success and recognition. Cheers! God Bless. And, Happy holidays.
Appreciate you and your support Bill!
CONGRATULATIONS FAM, great job, I am a subscriber and I fish the BFL’S here in Georgia, getting ready for Lanier which will be the first tournament starting February 18th, again my Brother, CONGRATS!
Best of luck on Lanier! Beautiful fishery.
@@realdiehlfishing THANKS for responding and I’ll be looking forward to your your vids
Great video; short and sweet. I am definitely going to re-think my hooks. I have never used stops, but I like to use weights in certain situations, so now I think I will have a go-between :)
It's a great idea to find what works best for you. The hook change and the stop have been a great addition for me. Just make sure you wet the stop/line before moving it on fluorocarbon.
@@realdiehlfishing Awesome, thanks! It has been uber hot up here (and I'm sure down there) so I haven't been out in a while, but I am thinking about making a solo fishing/camping trip maybe to deep creek end of summer/early fall.
I definitely like the GoPro footage! The headshake of the bass and that big ol' bird were really neat to see. I think adding your social media links in the description might be a good idea so if someone finds you on UA-cam, they can easily find you elsewhere. For example, I have no idea what other platforms you are on. I am not on anything other than LinkedIn, but if I had a reason to get on them....I just might ;)
Great feedback! Thanks!
Love the presentation with everything on the on the boat with the rods and all of that. I also really like this content because I have always wondered about how to "use" the gear ratios, but never really asked or figure it out. I usually just go back to the rods/reels I know without really thinking about the best combos.
I think you might need to invest in a microphone of some sort. I think it would be way easier to hear you.
I try to keep that in mind when I film with the phone, thanks for the feedback!
Hang in there. We are pulling for you.
Appreciate that!
Looks like you are doing well out there!
Making the best of it.
I think it is safe to say that all of your KRBM brothers are extremely proud of you and how you finished. Really looking forward to our next club team tourney in a couple weeks. It should be fun. I am confident that you will do great at Russell. Tight lines brother. Cheers!
Appreciate that! Tight lines my friend!
Helpful video!!! This content needs P-R-O-M-O-S-M.
Hey man. This is joseph. Good recap
Thanks buddy appreciate it! It was being there for a first time and learning some new stuff!
Great intro! Proud to be a part of your journey! Great things are on the horizon!
Love the new intro boss! I'll be sure to check out Summerland outdoors
Great info and perspective. I fish Clark's Hill though and the fish manage themselves lol, they're never there tournament day when I find them pre fishing!
Even the fish on the Hill have to be managed! Just has to be the right fish :)
Looking forward to this journey.
Great tip! Thx for sharing!
Is that your home wall?
A little less than half of it at this time.
Micheal, it's a portion of his home wall! Lol I want a wall like that when I grow up!
Congratulations
Gotta get proficient with this knot, good info!
It's a really strong knot to have in your arsenal!
Good info!
Right now, the Garmin 93sv is on sale at Bass Pro Shops for $400 off. The sale won't last, so if you can get it, get it while you can.
Meant to make a note here, please thoroughly rinse the sponges before you use them for the first time to prevent them from bubbling up your livewell and I highly recommend rinsing them out thoroughly and letting them air dry after every tournament.
Great tip guy! I usually tie a Double Uni when joining braid to fluro or mono but am going to try the Crazy Alberto Knot. It appears to be a lot quicker and easier to tie than the Double Uni.
Great video! You're spot on about the ALX Maestro. Love mine. Best investment in a rod I've ever made. The feedback and feel from it is awesome. So what reel do you use?
I've found over the years that I'd rather put good money into my rod, than my reel. My reel on this is old. It was a Bass Pro Tournament Series, 2000 family with a 5.1:1 gear ratio. I probably paid $25 dollars for it and have used and abused it to the point that the paint is finally coming off after 7 years and thousands of fish. It still runs clean and like new.
