I'm not sure whose decision it was to replace the wizard/solar with a gondola but had to be one of the most ignorant decisions I've ever seen. Traffic from solar coaster is extremely common and having a midstation gondola completely ruins the possibly of going up from there. Does Vail not understand where their traffic goes? Not only that, a lot of people prefer lifts as they do not have to take their equipment off. Clearly this decision is for the sightseers at the skiers/snowboards expense. Whoever proposed this expansion needs to be fired.
