A couple of games show Food Chain working quite well. Some others show why you shouldn't send your most important creature to it's demise for no reason. Feedback from the goblin community: 15:05 Get Harbinger to go matron->matron->matron->matron->lightning crafter->kiki-jiki->muxus, so I have a bunch more mana. What I don't like about this is that now my deck doesn't have any Matrons, Crafter or Kiki for Muxus to flip, so don't think I'd go for it. 25:50 Fetch basic Mountain. 1:16:05 Champion Muxus with Crafter. Can always sac it to Sling eot if opponent does nothing. 1:22:05 Maybe go for Ignoble here? Still undecided if burning 3 Matrons to cast Muxus is better than getting Muxus from Lackey and not having Food Chain in play. 1:30:50 Get Kiki with Matron and go infinite with Kiki/Crafter/Chain. SB against Shadow: Bring back Crafter, take another Ringleader out. SB against Delver: Go down to 1 Harbinger. Bring another Ringleader in. Mull to Leyline/Chalice.

Hi Marcelo I really appreciate your content but I have an important question for you. You did 5-0 with playing food chain only one time and it didn’t make you win that game, so is that card really worth it? I use to play food chain goblin on mtgo and I really like your list.
Hi! Thanks a lot man! I played the list Daniel Ford sent me. He's the experienced Food Chain player and knows better than I do. He told me I sided FC way more than he'd have, so maybe there's a reason it didn't show up much. As to if the card is worth it, I don't know. I'll definitely play more of it because I want to go off a few times to see how it is and evaluate better, but my main list does not play it right now.
Why no Squee, the Immortal? Not needed I guess. Great league!

Great League, Marcelo! Thanks for taking the list for a spin. I don't side out the food chains nearly as much as you did, so I appreciate the perspective you had. The shell feels super strong. Feed the Boys.
I don't understand why flipped infinite tokens give you instant victory? Isn't something missing?
The main combo is: have Snoop in play not being summoning sick, then cast Harbinger. You get loads of tokens. With the last untapped one, you target harbinger, and put Sling-Gang on top, so you can sac all snoops to drain for 1 each. If you don't have Harbinger but have a natural Kiki on top, you can pass the turn, then in your opponents end of turn you make loads of snoops. The copies will remain in play in your turn, since the Kiki sacrifice part of the ability only triggers at the beggining of the end step. So you can just untap and attack.
This is awesome man, don't know if it is competitively viable but its cool.
Definitely not competitive, but I can stamp on the fun part!

Pyrokinesis over Fury?
Being instant speed has proven time again to be better than the upsides Fury has. That said, maybe in a list with this many accelerates, I could try 1 fury as well.

This was such a great watch! Whoever disliked this ought to be banned from the internet. Exactly as you said, each match was immense, really fun, loads of tight decisions. Always makes me feel better hearing you say 'I don't really know how to play this' or etc when there are hard situations :P
I also haven't really played since about May last year. Just came back. And Vintage Cube is taking a lot of my practice time =p
Really enjoyed watching through as I couldn't catch it on the day. Great run, always feels rough when you look back and realise you could have done something differently, but it shows the deck has the potential to get there! Have been playing some MTGO again for the first time in a good while (thank you Legacy bans) and your list feels really good (though must admit as much as I love Kiki I haven't found him to pull his weight so he has been my only change).
Thanks man! Kiki is gone already. Him and Tarfire made slots for 2 Snoops. Have 5-0d my 2nd league with it. Might stream one tomorrow, and then a challenge by the weekend. Good to know you're back too =)
I actually didn't have Tarfire before, but have added it in after playing for a bit (so many engineers in leagues) and from watching your recent stuff. I just have a second MWM over Kiki at the moment (boring I know). I might try a Snoop over Grenzo. I always struggle to drop below 2 MWM. I also struggle to go to 61 cards :P And yeah I am getting back into it. During the last year I've still been in the greenskin world, but painting them rather than slinging cards. But with hopefully, meeting people in person and playing a possibility in the future, the cardboard fire is reigniting as for me it's always been about the people as much as the game.

Do you think Boggart Birth Rite is a sideboard card or straight into the mainboard? I agree it's better than unearth and quite good in a toolbox deck like goblins. It doesnt help with drawing the combo pieces but getting a ringleader or ME back is great.
Still don't know. If it's sb, don't know what I'd bring it up against. Discard and control? I think it can be a decent md card as 1 or 2 of. And guess it helps the combo by bringing back snoop, since he's the one that's likely to die fast.

I play bloodmoon in my board cause I play more prospectors I can turn 2 moon
Need to revisit that. Blood Moon hasn't been great in legacy since Force of Vigor and the Dark Depths rules update, but might be worth considering again.
Marcelo Scatena I run 1-2 moon in the board because it isn’t that great. But when it’s good. It’s usually ggs.
Blood moon is bad because of astrolabe.

dont see any difference how it plays out actually. you just crippled your early game and drawabilities.
how about more redundancy with metallic mimic? i’m trying to figure out a way to make this deck “competitive” but druid-vizir with chord and eladamri’s call seems much more consistent as a creature based combo deck :(
Don't really know if I want more non goblins in the deck. Ringleader being good wins too many games. Wouldn't know cuts for it.

That last game against tron was just absolutely legendary!! I would’ve made a few plays slightly different but either way great job!
It was really hard to play. So many options all the time. Just cought one mistake myself (Not playing 2nd Moon naming Blast Zone earlier) but am sure there are more.
At 1:34:18 you could have vial in Matron for Skirk, Play Skirk, sac both matrons, play Gully, make infinite red, play Sling-Gang.

Yes, pretty much. Dredge has a slow clock if they're dredging badly, and I'd rather keep my options open by holding matron rather than going all in if I don't have to.

A Question about Needle in this matchup (Tron in general) so here Map was the obvious choice. But if your doing it proactive, and maybe already have Vials / Alipne moons. Do you name Blast Zone or O Stone? (if its blind)
It's one of the first times I actually got to play Needle against them, so don't know. IF I need to preserve my other 1 drops, then needling Zone or Stone might be better, but you still may fall in the pit of naming one and them having the other. For that reason Needle is mostly for Map. Another card I may consider is Collector Ouphe, since deals with multiple things against several decks (at the cost of shutting down Vials).
20:10 what about casting grumgully, if he lets grumgully resolve --> trying to O Stone after you go for combo. (as you were also thinking, if im correct) Then if it resolves you cast putrid goblin. Now he lost. -----------------: And he had cyclonic rift. NVM that ruins my dreams just as in EDH
