Congrats on completing the game Dude. Even if it was an evil playthrough. Only ever tried an evil playthrough once, and my god! i did not like it one bit. That was BG1. I prefer to play a good hero, love it when evil beings disintegrate before my eyes. Nevertheless, you did well. But like i have said in an earlier msg. I lost interest in this game, far too much going on and the graphic which are very good, are a bit colorful and sometimes its hard to find out where my damn char's are. I just found the game a bit OTT tbh, and struggled to get into it. I might give it another go, but then again, i might not. When it comes to a good story, i really enjoyed the original BG 1& 2. It would be nice if they would give the original games a serious update with the option of turn based combat and remake it on 3rd ed rules, which i much prefer tbh. Once again though, well done man! :)

If you lose to the brain it has it's own ending. about 80% of what's wrong with this game is down to WOTC's mistakes in the intervening years. About 20% was Larrian's own mistakes. Indeed, it's a good game. As a game, maybe the biggest watershed since Skyrim. But it is not BG3.

At 26.90, this is why i cannot have Lae'zel in my party. Its always her way or nothing. In my game (which i have not played in nearly a year now) i have not used Lae'zel since we took out the Gith fortress i think was in act 2. After that i left her at camp. Her Chaotic way's and thoughts disrupt my thinking and planning.

At 12.23, yeah right, in a normal situation, this would be impossible to fight against. A bunch of 4 hero's would never be able to succeed, unless aided by the Gods themselves. I find the percentage hit chance is absolutely garbage, if this was a pen an paper game, most of those percentage rolls would be successful. Not so long ago, i needed a 90% chance to hit my enemy with my Ranger in this game and missed with both attacks, i was gobsmacked. I have found that most of the dice rolls i have rolled have been unreal. I used to play Other adventure games with P&P as well as wargames using 1d10 dice in percentage rolls, and i have rarely failed on a high dice roll, say, need a 80+ to fail. In this game, i find the dice rolls to be a bit stupid and unreal at times, sorta breaks immersion a bit.

Not too far from the end of this game now, what do you make of this game? too hard? very easy? or somewhere in the middle? and did you find the game too long? too short? or just right? Me, well i am still a long way from anywhere near the end of the game, In fact i am still at the beginning of act 2 tbh. And have stopped playing it for now. I find the game is okay, but i would of liked characters to have gotten near level 20, rather than only 12th level. But you said something about these 5th ed rules being a bit finicky and problematic. I would of also liked the game to have focused a bit more on the open terrain rather than the city, bit like the first game, where you have a shit ton of land to explore. Other than that, its not a bad game, Characters look awesome, the land, buildings and the city too, but, there's something i cannot put my finger on, onto why i have stopped playing, i think i just got bored tbh. I am atm playing Fallout 2, and man! what a great game that is. Awesome story, the things you can do in the game is just unreal. For an old game, it was well made, yes, it has a few bugs but well worth playing, and its sorta turn based combat too, a bit unusual but its okay.

When you replay this encounter, you should not push yr party too far out into the open. If you look at the scene at 43.04 and where Krevish now stands, that is not great at all, too many enemies can surround you even at this point. Try and funnel them in peace meal and stand yr party to the point where Archadues stands, give krevish as many arrows as possible so he can shoot from distance. The rest should be a little easier on yr slightly depleted force. I've not played this game, but this is what i would try and do. :)

Man you have a ton of junk in yr treasure box. Shit ton of books an scrolls, most of those items i sold many levels ago. You seriously need to sort this shit out off camera, you'll make a ton of gold if you do lol. And what's happened to all of yr magic rings and amulets. I have a shit ton of them, most are ready to be sold as i have better but i see two of yr party didn't even have any.
