Aum Zorion is an instrumental post-metal outfit from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The four-piece, featuring two former members of Dutch death metal greats Sinister and Consolation, started the writing process in early 2023. Nine months later, in October, Aum Zorion enlisted Erwin Hermsen to record their debut album at his Toneshed Recording Studios, renowned for its metal productions.

Taking notes from prog, doom, black, groove and post-metal, the album features intricately layered soundscapes, big heavy riffs interchanged with parts that are quiet and ethereal, as Aum Zorion tries to take you on an uninterrupted, 45-minute long trip.
