I finally did it... Hardest challenge on hardest difficulty in NieR:Automata, with keyboard & mouse!
It's not that much harder than normal difficulty, but just enough to drive you nuts...

After long tires and learning each wave, I wanted to make a complete tutorial on how to pass the special rank in the DLC Arena challenge in NieR:Automata. Tried my best to point, rank the difficulty, and give tips and tricks on each wave in order to make it simple and efficient, I really hope it'll help 🙏❤ Took me near 25 hours overall to pass it, it can be a real pain, so I hope this will ease...

DLC Arena Special Rank on PC defeated! After 2 weeks of practice, work, and perfecting the movement of this game on PC with my Keyboard & Mouse, I finally did it. It was one hell of a ride, so many failed attempts, but it's finally done. Wait how do you access the debug room on KBM controls? sadly for me it only gave me xbox control prompts which was... annoying, to say the least.
I'm not sure how it's used in Xbox since I'm playing on PC, but I heard you can access it by pressing R2+touch pad. I hope this helps!
@@Sashi200 I don't play on controller either, its literally on PC and for some reason it gave me Xbox control prompts for the first time on debug room, I was going to use it for practice against adam and eve but I just got this done a few days ago.

Good luck! Shockwave chips are actually pretty easy to farm in the fighting area in the desert, the enemies just keeps spawning
Bro I have the same chips and all of them are plus 8 but I can’t do so much damage like you like for example I can’t kill the boss lady with dress very fast like you can you help me?
Don’t forget to taunt , when it appears, hold square , in that way you can be aware that A2 taunt the boss and then you can press the light bottom over and over to make the taunt stay, in that way you can easily kill the bosses , I think the hardest of this arena are the spiders and the final boss, it’s just ridiculous how much life they got and the attacks
My recommendation is, to bind a quick key for turning off/on the pod's light. Flashing with the pod light on the enemies is equal to taunting them, which will make your damage 500% more, and it will help you kill the bosses in no-time. Once the boss spawns, start flashing on and off with the pod's light on her while attacking which will cause you to taunt her and your damage will help you kill her in seconds. If you don't manage to kill her before she starts attacking you, stand back, and finish her with the shockwaves 👍
