A look at what kind of speeds you can get using throttle only on the Ecotric Hammer electric fat bike. FYI this is a Ecotric hammer model, I just wrapped it in carbon fiber vinyl to give it a new look - video coming soon.

Here's a video on changing the settings on the Ecotric bikes with the S900 display. Including how to set the max top speed. See pined comment from Fremmy below for full settings. (thanks Fremmy) Options are: 1 - The display light 2- MPH or KmH 3 - Battery voltage 4 - Screen timeout 5 - Number of PAS steps (0=3, 1=5, 2=9) 6 - Wheel size 7- Maximum speed listed in KM. 8-12 ??? Just a nice ride around the local paths, with a bit of off road at 13:25 and some gravel roads at 15:22. Here’s a quick video on the unboxing and assembly of the Ecotric Hammer Fat tire bike. The assembly took about 20-30 minutes and was easy to figure out even if the instructions were a bit lacking. I’m by no means a youtuber so please forgive the simple video editing.
I don't have the P0 7 option on mine...
So if I lift the back tire up and put p7 to 45 it goes 28mph but ride on the road goes 25mph but someone said unplug the governor it goes up how true is that?
So I set mine to 45 in p7 and got it to 25mph but some people say if I unplugged the governor that will change the speed is that true?anyone

On my s900 i have only 16 params. And i can't see speed (zero) if i stop push throttle. How to fix?
Will under volting a 48v increase the distance when riding?

hello thank you for your video. the p14 parameter on my sw900 goes up to 50 A. I have the impression that it is there but inactive because setting it to 1 or 50 does not change anything in torque or speed. possible in your opinion?

My girlfriend just crashed my fat tire bike and got a concussion a mild one but still I’m just glad she’s okay her safety is top priority as for the bike don’t care if it’s broken long as she’s not. Anyway so it does seem fine though I ride it to work all the time just seems like steering is weird I cannot tell easily but it might be slightly bent somehow if it is it’s inside the tube most likely around the crown but it looks like everything lines up I just can’t figure it out it’s weird that’s why it might be slight but enough to cause minor differences not sure but it’s definitely rideable and everything works the same. I was going to get new suspension forks for it anyway instead of the solids but I have to figure out the right size first before I got ordering stuff.
Adjust your tire size to 24 for accuracy
What does that do exactly I have mine at 26 and it goes up to 25mph?
If you have the 20 inch rims with the fat tire they are actually 24 inch tires and your mileage will accurately read as well as mph.

please find the plug that connects the controller and the motor , please re-plug it , maybe the connection is loose (This is what the manual says) good luck

don’t raise the speed it will short your controller it’s suppose to stay at 36v

loved your video, i have the hammer 750 watt and absolutely love it. 23 is my max speed on flat ground. you did a great video, is this a go Pro camera? and if not is this how smooth the bike rides?

Re: the tire size, I have an e-trike back tires are 20". The motor is on the front tire which is 24". Should I set it for a 24" or average it out? Suggestions?
I know it's very late, but maybe it will still help (someone). The tire size setting is really only to get the correct speed and distance measurements, so set the tire size to whatever the motor tire size is. In the above scenario that would be 24".

Yes but it can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.

After you change to km from mph and tire size. Does that still give you an accurate distance reading?

air up and your tires to max pressure and set po 7 to 46 and po 8 to 100 in kmh this works for 72 volt 5000 watt
can I use 48 Volt battery for that Rocket Bike?
motor will handle it. May need display and 48v motor controller
P10 is magnet count on how fast you want the pedal assist to kick in 100 is 1 revolution of crank 200 is two revolutions because there is a 100 magnets in motor I keep mine at 100 the quickest activation of pedal assist

I have the 1000 watt and with a little pedaling on a flat run in 5th gear i blew over 45 mph. I was pedaling butbnot like mad. Its big heavy comfy and faster than greased sh*t
How did you get it so fast? Mine only goes 26 mph pedaling with the speed limiter off.

Does you know how to select the 'Walk' mode?
Hold Up arrow and down arrow and it will start walking and release them to stop the bike
You hold the down arrow
I just learned that whatever speed your going, while your on the bike hit the down arrow and hold it and it acts as a cruise control
On my Ecotric 20" Fat Tire Folder, any time you press the "down" button and keep it pressed, the bike will be in WALK mode, even if your going fast, the motor will slow to walk mode

How do you get the trip not to reset. If the display turns off my bike’s trip resets?
yup
Keep the display on all the time. Set P04 to 0 and it will stay on till you remove the battery, or turn the key off, or push the middle bottom for 3+ seconds. This might be a problem, having to leave the key in if you leave the bike unattended. In that case, note the time on the display and add it to the time at the end of your ride, if it's that important to you.
I have the 500 watt it is a beast I love this bike
Same everyone well lots of people I see on UA-cam have a 750 or more version but between the 750 and 500 mine does the same thing so it’s whatever it could be peak watts too not sure. I got the 500 fat tire same controller though can get it to 30 without hills and a little pedaling. Only problem it’s it eats battery power like a light crunchy snack so I’d probably get another battery eventually for longer rides also my locks add good amount of weight but still it’s the fat tires I know. I love it though.
How do I get replacement bearings and all that go into front rim
So, the up and down keys on mine tend to respond only every other week or so. You don't happen to know if you can program this to start in the power-mode rather than the eco-mode?
I believe both front wheel axle springs are on one side, should have spring on each side of fork, narrow part points into wheel

How can I leave pedal assist off and use throttle only?
Go to P10 on your lcd There are three options 0 is to ride with a pas only 1 is for throttle only and 2 is for a combination of PAS and throttle hope that helps
