Hello and thank you for watching Flight6677. On this channel I share my experience with radio control models and provide unedited honest reviews of models that are not influenced by suppliers or manufacturers. I also prepare repair, maintenance and build videos for RC models to help viewers looking for additional technical details.
Nexa (aka VQ Models) - Canadian Twin Otter

Airbus H135 (aka EC135) RC Helicopter - by Flish RC
Переглядів 20Годину тому
This model is a kit by Flish RC, operating on 6s LIPO battery. It is a 500 size scale helicopter with a fenestron tail simulation. It has a H1 controller. Details can be found on FlishRC.com. Here I am flying and enjoying a snow day! Absolutely stunning performance - other than a need to re-caliber the home function.

That tail is so much quieter than our traditional tail motor/blade set up. I have the Red Bull AS350. I know you have the red version. Havent flown mine yet cuz the weather is crap and Im not as hardy as you are. I hate winter. Anyways, I kinda wish I got this one instead now.
Hi
Nice Brother !!!👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
Good to see you back! I wish you a great further recovery! Thank you for the interesting hirtorical facts to this helicopter! This machine looks very good! Nice for beginners to learn the orientations and basics of heli flight!
@@RCCopterLove thank you. Happy to be able to take vids all alone again LOL. Sort of need two hands!
@@Flight6677 So I wish s super seepy comback of the second hand!!
Nice heli, your neighborhood reminds me of my old neighborhood in Chesapeake Va.
Wish their Blackhawk had the larger battery it has 1300 mah
@@poochies0316 but it’s a 3S with 11.1V nominal. This higher voltage uses less amps and more efficient.
@@Flight6677true but only getting 5 minutes out of it with normal flying , that’s why I’m surprised that this Kiowa with a 2s 1200 gets 10 minutes , but it has a different kv motor
@@poochies0316 also the head speed is less. That makes a difference since the kv of the motor and voltage on a direct drive determine the head speed.
@ thx this Kiowa is definitely nice in the scale dept , wish it could use dsmx remote receiver and i could use my dx8 don’t need anymore extra tx’mttrs laying around lol , you fly it well reminds me of my yu zhang Seahawk 😊
I'm glad to see a new video from you. I've been waiting so long that I started my own channel 😂 lol. I have the Eachine e186 version. Love it! Honestly, thank you for past and future videos. I have 3 helicopters, now! 🤙 a gps helicopter has to be next! Recovery is worse than injuries I can attest to. Congrats!
@@staysmallrc you are welcome. Sorry for the delay. I had an injury and took a while to get back in the groove. I have a lot of ideas and videos - just need to move on it
@Flight6677 Your videos are really helpful and flow nicely. Just to affirm what you were saying about not being able to slow down... I'm a total beginner, and it happened to me twice. Now I know what happened. I was in optical mode/ safe in my mind, but not because controls are too sluggish to decrease high speed. I need to switch to manual to actually slow down..and then back to optical flow!
@ another heli that suffers from this issue is the YuXiang F06. In fact it has even less controllability.
You’re a great pilot!!
@@Gregoryruger thank you!
Pretty long flight time on it considering the cold and the weather. Nice bird...
Yes, I have been surprised with how long it has been flying!
Cool it has counter clockwise rotation with tail rotor on the left like most full size helicopters. Even the new Rotorscale Airwolf with retracts does not have scale rotation and it cost over 800 dollars. Tail motor is surprisingly quiet unlike larger helicopters. I rather have shaft drive on the larger helicopters with loud tail motors.
Hello
Thank you for sharing your build

😀Loved your video! Would you like to try out our OH-58 or UH-1D? Happy to send you one to check out!
@@Carmanon thank you for considering sending one to me. I would review and provide my honest feedback. If ok with that please let me know and I will provide details.

Looked up pic of real ones, and painted mine black. .
i havevthe red white bell 206, how do i get the front light to stay on and not blink in flight? is there options?
Thanks for a nice video, in what port do you set the lightssupplay ? And how many volts is it in there?
I received this EC135 from Flish after nearly 3 month.Happy that I finally got it I unpacked .When grapping the fuselage out of the box I heard some rappling noise: The mont of the tailrotor was loose ( glue..) and the whole assembly had to be removed from the fuselage. I am not shure If I reassembled everythin right ( prop had to be removed from the motor and the motor had to be completely removed from the block).. The problem is: what is the correct assembly of the motor/ prop. could you please check for me which rotational direction the motor must have, how the prop ( no markings) has to be mounted on the motor? Looking from right on mounting-nut, what is the direction of the motor (cw or ccw) ? I very much appreciate you help!
excellent video, it was so helpful and informative. One of the best videos on helicopters i have seen.
@@markathompson thank you for your comment.
I have the same problem as you. At first I didn't understand. I've seen other people say that the c189 has many problems, but I just found out that at first it flew very smoothly. Suddenly it lost altitude, like the gyro malfunctioned. It flew in all directions like the flybarless electronic system had a problem. Sometimes it would accelerate itself into the sky.
@@wnu501 there is a known fix. The earlier models had a problematic gyro board that was “corrupted”. It needs to be swapped.
Can you tell me the brand of epoxy you used when putting your bird together?
Bob Smith Industries
If you want one of these birds better grab onto your wallet, i priced out a md 500/500 scale, shipping alone was 200 bones, total amount 1700 dollars.
@@cpotts672 yes they may seem expensive but it’s Ready To Fly 500 class helicopter with quality electronics. I am not sure where you get $1700. The price is currently $1100 from the Flish RC store on Aliexpress. This is shipped cost. Do compare and see for yourself in more details.
like all the other small helicopterusers, speed, speed and more speed! That´s all you can dp with it? Poor guys!!! Start to think what a helicopter can do.......
@@pittrotter8877 It’s a scale helicopter. What do you want to do with it? Tic tocs or what??
@@Flight6677 How is it with a precision landing? I know therefore you need a sensitiv transmitter. But give it a try and practice landings on the point or in a circle. Shoud be a more or less straight line to the touchpoint. For take off try to make soft and slow take off, it works with some training! This brings you closer to a real helicopter flying
@@pittrotter8877 Good point. I do that as well but I prefer to fly mine differently. Do you have one? If not get one. You will see the issues and how it flies. Perhaps you can video and show us as well.
@Flight6677 Sure I have one!!! It's lot of fun. I have MD500, H145 and the Bell 206.
Has everybody ever tried a AUTOROTATION with one of the Era Helicopters?
@@pittrotter8877 when you switch off your transmitter in mid flight she will do something very close to a autorotation!
@@Flight6677 Think I will try it from a high position because it needs some forward movment...
@9:25 where did you get the power supply to make the lights flashing?
May I know where did you buy your BEC that supplies the nav and strobe lights? thanks mate
@@earlskie2u see below. Thanks
i am interested on how you connect the lights by providing good power supply but it would be much lovely to see if you have a diagram of it🙂
@@earlskie2u the lights are connected directly to the RX. I have a Roban light module complete with the electronics. I connect the module to an open port on my receiver and have it turn on and off. With this model you have to be careful since the H1 is initially powered by a 7.4V BEC from the ESC. I added another BEC to supply power at 5V (good for the LED module) to the receiver and cut the red wire from the H1 to the RX. So the H1 module is now isolated at 7.4V and the RX is at 5V.
can you please comment the link where you bought the lighting you added? and its not clear to me how you wire the navlights and get it working without compromising control and battery system.. thank you.
@@earlskie2u I bought the light module and associated LEDs from FlishRC store in AliExpress. Search this item and you should find it: RC Helicopte Night Lights 8 Different Modes LED Signal Navigation Light 4.7V DIY HOBBY. It’s listed for $31.

Where is the gps modul located , is it mounted in the fuselage? How do you then calibrate it? Thank you for your information
GPS module is on the tail inside the fuselage.
Play video I just got my first two of five ordered helicopters and I love what you did with those lights I went to their website which is pretty much all in Japanese. I don’t see anything in there about a wiring kit that you mentioned can you tell me where you got that and that module that went with it appreciate it. I don’t see anything on their website, but they’re helicopters. I ordered mine from AliExpress.
@@videonut1963 it’s called LED lighting kit. You don’t have to have it specifically from this suppliers. You can use other LED kits sold.
@@Flight6677 where did you get the power supply of your nav/strobe lights? Did you use the channel 6 of the receiver to power it on or off from the remote controller?
Will this work on rc era c129 vw it fixed pitch but so much toilet bowl effect I don't know how to trim
Not on my c129 v2, it would be interesting to know if it does on the Eachine E129 then I could replace the ctrl board ! it works perfect on my e120 and c186.
Looks great !
@@majorsmackdown thank you. I recently got a different version and I will be doing a video on it soon.
Which brakes did you use ?
@@tonyyimbo initially in this video I had the Turnigy / RC Lander magnetic brakes. I change later to JP brakes.
Does the red livery version also come with the improved optical flow sensor?
Will this work on the Eachine E120 and/or the RC ERA C138?
Yes
Did you paint the fuselage white or just use the stock white?
I painted it white.
Completely stock? Stock radio???
Yes.
These things are trash i might just send it right back to chinastan.
They are not trash. I have enjoyed flying them. Initially some had faults but they quickly fixed them. Send it if you wish, its your money.
@ you’re right I’m just very frustrated that mine wont fly as good as the c138 with optical flow binded to a radiomaster (the thing will hold its position completely
Any idea how to ajust the single servo mechanicly to ajust the rotorblade? I had to change 1 servo in the Bell 206 The other thing is the bad forward movement of my C190. What ever I calibrate, it flys pretty slow, also when changing the the general speed to pos.2 or 3. Has anybody a succesfull idea? Thanks for letting me know. Cheers Pitt/Munich
