What if Aragorn spoke Biblical Hebrew? (Lord of the Rings dubbed in Biblical Hebrew)
What if Aragorn spoke in Biblical Hebrew? I thought I'd give an attempt to translate and dub Aragorn's speech at the black gate into Biblical Hebrew. There were a few choices I wasn't sure of, so let me know in the comments if you think something could have been translated better :)

In Irish we say Isa, pronounced EES āh. I have no idea how we arrived at that one.
Why is it pronounced Joshua in the Old Testament but Jesus in the New. Seems very strange since the translation of THE KJV’s new and old version was written at the same time. I’m just not buying it. This is a transliteration not a translation by definition. The title god, and name Zeus has been substituted by a follower of Saturn aka Zeus, his name is Constantine. He changed Holy days, times, seasons and incorporates the worship of Jupiter aka Zeus The Father! If I’m not mistaken you just proved that the early Greeks call Him Yashua. So if the Greeks passed it down as such, then so should we. IJS
Thought Jesus and his followers spoke Aramaic.
Here in Indonesia we call Him Yesus, pronounced the same way as in latin iesus, thanks for the explanation 🙏
I thought jesus real name was joshua
Poland - Jezus ❤
Delusional . Did you speak to him or just more religious bs
I'm sticking with Yahusha = I am salvation.
Sometimes I just call Him Father.
Yep :) Matthew 23:9 call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven
One also needs to understand Jewish traditions, such as you shall not pronounce the Name of the Father. So they have created cleaver close related acronyms that relate to the sacred Name without actually pronouncing His Name, Blessed be. Same with the association with the Messiahs Name in the relationship to the Father and since they deny his divinity they won't and don't apply the Sacred Name to the Messiahs thus changing the name and meaning as it was written in the Hebrew scripts as fact to humiliate and denounce His status. I was amazed when I came across this and yet it makes perfect sense and consistency of their history on this matter, thus substituted for yeshua instead of YAHSHUA or YAHUSHUA. Which literally means "Salvation of YAH" and the Father says This is my Name forever. It's the details. Don't believe me I ask. I spent the time and it was given and shown and usually we don't want to believe anyone else if it contradicts what we think we know. I know I was one of those. Then I found out I was the one ignorant. Be as the Borians listen then seek out the truth for yourself. Others can point the path but its up to you to see the truth. Shalom.
There is an Old Testament passage about a King whose name was Jeshua and he was King & Priest. I find that very interesting because according to the Book of Hebrews, Jesus is referred to as King and Priest. Jesus priesthood was referred to by God as of the order of Melchisedek ....who also was King of Salom....he also was King & Priest. Sometimes it appears as though God works in code. I love it.
His name is sound with a modern y sound not the j sound. Or a i sound. The y sound is a je sound . Ye does carry the same sound as a je . So its yehoshua or yeshua. The true sounding of the name is in Hebrew not Greek.
HalleluYAH! So blessed to have found you! Much Gratitude!
great information, it always bothered me growing up, that english speakers bastardized pronouns of (certain( ancient people and places, while others remained unchanged
Исус Христос ☦️
Out of all languages, a south Indian language called Malayalam has the most accurate pronounciation of the saviour that is യേശു മിശിഹാ (Yeshu M'shiha) because of the strong Influence of syrian and middle east migration of syrian christians. We also have a personal name for him which is cent percent from his native language Aramaic called ഈശോ (Eesho).
Yahushua is what I learned. The Father's name is Yahuah.
In Spanish, mostly in Mexico there are many Jesús as a given name. The J sounds like nothing in English, as it does in Mexico. I believe in Hebrew you sound it CH, like yud or yod.
G-ZEUS ... STOP COMPLICATING AND LYING... G-ZEUS derives from the Macedonian word for BRIGHT-STAR (SUN)... DZE-VE-ZDA, it's just combinations of the words you want to discard DEUS, ZEUS, DZEVS, ZEVS... stupid liars, you just complicate for stupid people to think you know something... you are just a bunch of miserable liars and scammers...
Great video. It would have been good if you'd also touched on the great consonant shift and additional vowels where J became Y as well through. Iesvs became Jesus and should have become Yesus but for some reason the consonant shift didn't carry over to Jesus. Ever wondered why W (double u) looks more like a double V? Technically English should spell and pronounce it as Yesus due to the shift and additional letters added to the English language.
Thank you so much for helping me with this one. I live in Scotland in the U.K. and we call the Son of God Jesus 💒 I became confused which affected my prayers normally I was just praying without fear and praying in the Spirit and I would pray in Jesus Name but Messianic Jews call Him Yeshua and I started to worry in case I was doing something wrong 🥹 I lost that freedom in prayer I do have a personal relationship with Jesus and I believe that He was happy with me calling Him Jesus But doubt crept in This video has helped me realise that I have heard from God and yes in my heart I am praying to that same Jesus who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day and ascended to Heaven I believe all these things in my heart and I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord 😅😊❤
They didn't speak Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic.
In my language isiZulu i pronounce him " uJesu"
I call Him Jesus, Lord, Almighty God.
Very, very interesting video!! Thank you!!
Así me gusta que me expliquen. Gracias.
Yeshua ישוע
Love you ❤🎉
Grt info.
I thought his real name was Emanuel David... Since Yeshua is Hebrew for redemption. Like he was given a nickname after redeeming people.
The problem with Hebrew to Greek, Latin, etc is that the 'Yeh' and 'Sh' sounds are not in those other languages
I grew up as a Catholic and was told His name didn't mean anything! They never taught that it ment God's Salvation! Even tho Joshua was the same name!
This guy needs to make a video for helping people go to sleep. His voice is soothing and warm.

You're confusing a "Shame" with Name. Nobody calls their self by shame, it's something derogatory that they are "Affeered to" יקר את The word YESOU mean "Yes Ow, Yes Ow, Yes Ow" It was the secret name of god that had to be fucqed out of the Yewish wimmen.
I find this to be very interesting. With 18 I had a phase that people might call a "spiritual awakening". I was given the Name of the Lord just in written way, not spoken out. And I didn't write "Jesus Christ", the name I was given was "Yeshua". I didn't google it, I just thought this had to be Jesus, without researching on it, I only did that years later. And I thought it was pronounced like Joshua but then, also years later I heard hebrew speaking people pronounce it differently and it sounded just so much more beautiful, that I decided, it had to be how they pronounce it. I'm not too good with languages, so I don't even know if I pronounce it the correct way. I do sometimes wonder why he gave me this name. With the more complicated name I probably wouldn't even have realized, it was Jesus, with Yeshua it came instantly "This sounds a lot like Jesus ... Has to be him." So when I speak to him, I mostly say Yeshua, not Jesus. I saw online people discussing his real name. And the ones most aggressively in that, seemed to be people who didn't even get their "Yashua" from him personally, but they mostly talk about having done their research and then also claiming using any other name was demonic. .... hm. I don't think so. But I still think Yeshuas name is way too beautiful to always make Jesus out of it 😂 And now for other reasons I sometimes say Yeshua Elrhahim, even though I'm not sure what that means and if it's written the right way in any given language, but a demon for sure didn't like the name Elrha at all. And then I wanted to write something and someone was eager to let me add the "him" part. And from asking Google I just found ... that in another way of writing Muslims call God El Rhahim? ... I'm not a muslim ... I'm not sure why I got this name ... But I know I really like the sound of Yashua Elrhahim and the meaning of the last name was a beautiful one, so I hope I'm not doing something wrong with this, but I wonder if it can be bad, if demons hate it.
But I think it's interesting. I don't understand why God did that. I would probably still see myself mostly as a christian, for I am also baptized that way. And Yeshua for me, especially with what happened afterwards, giving up my free will to let God act through me and been given the two rules that I later read in the bible, even though I heard "Accept God's love and share it with the world" while the Bible tells "Love God and love one another" (still I'd say it's pretty much the same thing), since this is all more new testament, I'd put it into the "christian-box", but then Yeshua is for me kind of his jewish name and after asking Google about Elrhahim, that's someway muslim, and with that it would be kind of a bride between all three big monotheistic... belief systems? Which is interesting. God knows me, he probably knew I would like this and be curious about it.
With what I googled about Elrhahim it meant "Ewige Barmherzigkeit", "barmherzig" or "Gott". I now asked a translator and this one said barmherzig means merciful? I don't know if that's correct, but maybe you can see why I like that name. And it kind of then is ... Like ... Not saying Yeshua the Messiah, but Yeshua Elrhahim as in Yeshua the merciful/the merciful God. I like that 🙈🥰
D0ont care.
The correct version is still YAHASHUAH/YAHOSHUAH, which means GOD IS SALVATION in ancient Hebrew. As was prophetically foretold and symbolized by "Joshuah"/Yahashuah's mission to physically bring the faithful into the promised land during the Old Covenant, which THE LORD YAHASHUAH THE CHRIST ALMIGHTY later fulfilled spiritually during HIS mortal life and will fulfill again not only spiritually but also physically when HE returns around the middle of the tribulation for HIS faithful. Pre-tribulation "rapture" is an unBiblical heretical lie designed to give people who don't prayerfully study their Bibles false confidence and confusion that leads them astray in multiple ways and keeps them unprepared for the persecution to come.
Ask any Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, Jordanian, Saudi, Egyptian and they will tell you the right pronounciation. Europeans, Asians & Africans have no idea it's pronounced. Zionists in Israel are mostly fake Ashkanazi Jews with no connection to the region.
To prescribe a "correct" pronunciation is to completely ignore how language works. The semitic languages are not divine, hate to break it to ya.
Jesus means son of Zeus.. He is a reminder to humanity like Hercules.
That is not an accurate etymology. You are incorrect.
@@Calvin_Barnes I know.I was just joking ..but from the other side ,Zeus is famous of lovin around with mortal women.
Well. I enjoyed very much the video but regarding Jesus exposition to greek, I'm not rather sure. Her mother's village (not 100% clear) was called sepphoris as well, due to a rather large Greek community established there. And as far as I know, Roman soldiers had Greek as their Lingua Franca rather than Latin that was reserved for higher ranks. No matter what, if this is completely wrong, I'll deeply appreciate any corrections.
YAHUAH THE FATHER YAHUSHUA THE SON YAH!!!!!! HALLEHUYAH..YAH
It would be great to know how to pronounce the real name of Jesus during his time. But in the US and English speaking countries they pronounce Jesus because of the modern Letter J instead of Y. Since the Septuagint or other copies of Septuagint became our bible in the early century Pastors, Priest and other Teachers of the Bible already taught us from the Greek version of the Bible not from the Hebrew Bible. But I believe whatever we call him whether Jesus or Yesu or Issu or Yeshua, are still correct, because God knows the intent of our heart ❤️
It’s strange to me how words would end up going from a y sound to a j sound because they sound so different to me. I’m trying to learn Spanish and it totally throws me off when I hear people pronounce the double L combo with a j sound instead of a y.
If I am not mistaken, Moshe (Moses) was told that the name of the Deity was “I Am”. Rotating through this video, the English version is “Jesus”. In (modern(?)) French, the phrase “I Am” is … “je suis …”. Hmmm, … just seems odd that the name of that “savior” is so similar to the French phrase of identity.
Essa
Jesus is our savior and Lord. I love him no matter how you pronounce it.
Yeshua and Jesus absolutely different names, its like saying Michel and Alexander is the same, Shua is Canaanite village, basically means: I'm from Shua..J didnt exist in Hebrew alphabet so calling Jesu another fraud...this is all to deceive sheep
I daresay his elder brother James called him something completely different.
How is Joseph, Yeshua's dad, spelled? Ought it be with a "Y" as well?
Probably something like Yosef
