I also was always terrified of playing this game. Still couldn't do it today, but at least now i can see it as it being just a game, made by people, and not some evil force burned into a cd like i thought when i was a child.

Saves dont effect the ending in Silent Hill its down to choices and one ending you cannot get till new game plus there 5 in total have fun figuring out how to get them
