Don’t hold me to this but if I’m right the ethanol content helps the burn of the gas so maybe its more efficient for the engine. I know how a engine work’s somewhat but the sprayers spray the gas and the piston comes up and ignite the fuel so maybe bcuz the higher ethanol content it burns faster therefore making the engine more efficient for the motor + maybe its cleaner on the engine and other component’s keeping the cat
