Christmas Eve Barn Clean-out with Bobcat At450 and Weidemann T4512
It's Christmas Eve and I was able to meet up with one of the other sales reps at Advantage to see how he cleans out his chicken barn after shipping 28000 birds last night. They own a Bobcat At450 with a blade that works amazing for cleaning around the edges of the barn. We took one of our Weidemann T4512 compact telehandlers over to shoot some promotional video of this pair working together for the poultry show coming up in the new year.

My First Double Demo! - How does an IDEAL Combine work and what does chop vs non chop look like?

The early morning rain held us off from combining right away so I explain how the Fendt Ideal works and ho quick I can change the concave out to get the combine to thresh even better than it was. aThe customer ran the head in non chop for the first couple hours, then we switched it over to chopping for a 20 ac plot for them...
Corn!!! - Can The Fendt 7T Hold Its Own With a 12 Row Chopping Head?

After a short rain delay Monday am, I was finally able to get the Ideal in the field with the new Geringhoff 12 row chopping head. Spend the day getting it dialed in and the yield monitors calibrated although corn yields from 0 -120bu/ac made it extremely difficult. Day 2 we moved into some better corn in the 160-220bu/ac range and this machine performed amazing. Tons of power and capacity and ...

First day of Corn with Davis Land and Grain

First day of Corn with Davis Land and Grain
Really enjoy your videos Jeremy. We had an r66 running a 25ft auger head and 6 row, then up to a 30' Macdon before we went to an s96 with the macdon and 6 row Drago. I do think it could handle an 8 row but probably not a chopping either. Our grain set up can't handle the 8 row though, barely handles the 6 on farther away fields. Always a limiting factor...
When you upgrade one thing you always find the next weakest link. 🤦♂️. Typically the dryer can’t keep up. Thanks for watching.
Place i worked at outside Ingersoll had 2 Steiners for cleaning chicken barns out. Pushing the top floor down. Older Case 1835 i think skid steer for bottom floor. No cab.
Lots of gleaners down Chatham area. Was born there. Worked for C.L. Benningers one summer after college. Nice people.
Hey! If you combining white clover that has been cut with a swather. What header would you go for, if you don’t want to buy a pickup. 😊
Far from what sales trucks were in the past. No mistaken now who pulls into a yard. Looks great.
Thanks! We're really happy with how it turned out.
What a beauty…
Good demo
The maneuverability on 600 seems to be realy awsome. From what I've read in the brochure, it should be same as 300 series is that true in reality?
I just had a 300 show up. I’ll run a circle check with the drone and confirm! Thanks for the comment!!
@@filipruzek9649 there’s no way. It does depend on what tire option you have. If the 600 has 540/600’s on the front it won’t turn as tight as 480’s on a 300.
@@zfilmmaker It seems impossible to me as well, however as I said, thats what i've read in the brochure. On 600 it's with 540/65 R30 but I don't know which tyres on 300. Both 10,2 meters turn radius
@ I’ve never seen 540/65R30 offered from the factory, R38 is Fendt wheel side for that tire.
@@filipruzek9649 I should clarify my response that I’ve never seen 30” rim option from the factory for a 300 series.
Gleaner. Always have. Worked for C.L. Benninger in summer '03 which made me a bigger fan. Run 480R CATs at work and not cheap to repair.
Gleaner loyalty runs deep. Always old reliable. The early lexions were hard on repairs
favorite is ih 2588 and a gleaner r42 combine
Both good machines!!!
Hey...this video really hits home that there's so much to know when setting up one of these things to run at its best. Do you have any suggestions for places where I can learn more about setting up a combine for different situations? Thanks for these, great info!
Yup, call me!!! 😎
Thanks for speaking with me today! I appreciate your advice!
Anytime!! Thanks for watching the videos!!!
Like seeing other machines running good job
Thanks!!
Demoed a fendt 1050 on a 30ft joker and the John Deere 9620rx pulled it a lot faster
It’s a 120 hp more….of coarse it would?? This was pulling it at 12-14 mph which is the perfect speed. Doesn’t need to go faster.
Waiting for barley and wheat to be ready here in South Australia. Cat 460. Hell of a drought this year so won’t take long
What would a normal yield be there? What will it be this year? How many acres are you covering?
Only just saw this reply. Depending on the area here it can vary from 2 ton ha to 4 ton ha. Some areas might get up to 5 ton ha. This year the absolute top yield will be 2 ton ha in some areas. We will be 400 if on barley and wheat might get enough seed for next year. We crop 2000 acres and contract harvest another 1500. Seed 9000 acres total.
@@richardsmyth8088wow! that’s crazy. We are seeing some of this here this year in corn. Thanks for watching!
Tenant finished soys Thursday. Still some late planted beans in neighbourhood, but not many now. Right in center of your area.
There seams to be some beans finishing up but driving the area west of London there is still a ton sitting out.
got flooded out.
That’s sucks! Where abouts?
North Simcoe. Beans are done, and waiting for corn to dry down a bit more. Run a deere S760. Keep the videos coming, they are great!
It sure seams like a years you can give the corn a bit more time. With crop prices being as low as they are. Anything mother nature can do to save on some drying costs is appreciated!! Thanks for watching!
SW Manitoba. Originally from Ingersoll. Been done for weeks. NH3 all done too. Really nice fall weather. 2 CAT 480.
Will see how things shake out here. Your old areas south looks to be almost done. West towards Sarnia and Windsor are coming but still a bunch to go
Duetz to AgcoPower SISU is all that’s changed from a 700 Gen 6 to 600. I would not call it the future of farming. The 700’s were/are great tractors and as big as they are… more row crop sized frame, they are as nimble as any utility tractor. I use my 700 Gen 6’s for all sorts of jobs around the farm. Duetz is a junk motor, I’m looking forward to the SISU changeover.
I agree the 700 gen 6 is an awesome tractor but this is a completely different tractor. As shown in the video it’s more maneuverable than the 500 and 700 series. This frame will allow for true 30” rowcrop and still be able to turn. Biggest improvement is having the loader valve isolated so you have the 5 remotes usable at the back. Huge improvement for guys running rock pickers etc that needed all 5.
@ separate hydraulics would be really nice. I get tired of disconnecting loader hydraulics on my 724 every time I run an Implement needing all 4 remotes. 600 with more maneuverability than a 700 G6 and 500… are you comparing models without active steering? My 718 and 724 with active steering are just as maneuverable as a utility tractor half their size. I saw Fendt is coming out with a 700 Gen 7 so is the 600 smaller than a 700 Gen 6?
The hydraulics is huge! Can't tell you how many people complain about having 5 remotes but only being able to use 3. The 600 with new frame and engine is able to turn that much tighter anything else offered. The 600 will replace the smaller 714 to 720 tractors. The new Gen 7 700 will start at a 720 and go to a 728. These are now replacing the 800 series tractors
@@jeremynoble1452 yup Gen 7 = 800… I traded my 828 and 822 for a 728 and 726. Although the 728 has front and rear duals. I love having a dually in the frame size. I was hoping the 726 would be a good triple mower tractor but it isn’t, the 930/932 is still the top tractor for that. My dealer offered a 620 demo for a couple days but I’m not sure I need one. I had a 714 but traded it for a 516 to load hay. I prefer the 516 for that especially for the extra visibility of the narrower 4 cylinder hood.
Have you ever mowed any hay with your 516? @@zfilmmaker
Nice video! How does the larger bin capacity of the Fendt affect fuel consumption? (Or does it?)
The combine is just more fuel efficient the way it’s designed. However after thinking about your question, I guess technically the bigger bin could add to fuel efficiency by being able to complete a cut through a field and not having to stop and dump part way. The 485bu adds to the overall efficiency of the machine which in turn would help with increasing acres per hour and therefore burning less fuel.
What’s the max rpm of the engine and what revs for 1000 pto?
1900 is max rpm. 1000 pto is around 1250-1270
I know you said this tractor offers considerable fuel savings. In your opinion what's the biggest improvement in this model that contributes to those fuel savings?
The low engine rpm and the transmission working together is the biggest factor.
The joystick looks like a disco ball :D
lol it’s only as complicated as you want. 🤣
I'm in NC watching a JD S770 take down the soybeans behind my house. I lease the field to pay the taxes and let him keep the rest. 50 acres but he does a bunch like this total in the area, 1,000 acres or so.
Technology has come a long way in farming. 2 combines very good
Thanks, I agree!
Have you ever used Agra GPS' rtk receiver? Looking for some feedback from farmers in Ontario
No I haven’t sorry. But Johannes has said I should. Maybe get a chance at some point.
Count what's under the mats for header loss, like to see that
Thanks for sharing! Great to see that you can update your fleet to more fuel efficient vehicles while maintaining data solutions.
Glad it was helpful!
Amazing! Like the previous comment, you made it look easy. Have you done this before or are you a quick study when you read instructions? 😊
Hey Ron, it honestly isn’t a difficult system to install but it’s definitely not my first rodeo! 😎.
Wow didn't know it was THAT easy to install a JD bridge. Great video
Thanks 👍
Sun halo! I like the educational component of this one. Thanks!

All the masseys left around us about 3 years ago, case and deere got moat few went gleaner, we left adter 2012 harvest, rep told us if we wanted to demo a massey we had to drive a hour to one case brought one right to our farm for 120 acres of harvest, rep said no we wont do that we said 50 years of mf means nothing he said nope it dont, was at a deere guys place they ran it over 100 hours told them thanks for the use were not interested, we tols the rep after we traded we told you so after our dealer said your being used for free use.
It’s unfortunate that poor dealers can kill a brand but that doesn’t matter what colour it is. I’m trying to not let that happen in my area. Lots of Massey loyal customers still around here. If that means I have to order MF decals from Europe then I will. Good luck with the rest of harvest! JN
@@jeremynoble1452 dealer was great, rep wouldn't deliver, all they had on lot was basically same combine we had, couldn't get a combine to demo,

Agco Corp has Killed SO Many Farm Equipment Brands it is UnReal! They are the reason for Lack of Brands & Consolidation in the Ag Market. A Company getting Bought by Agco is the Kiss of Death! Agco will Suck the Life/Profits Out of the Equipment Company, and then Close Shop/Doors! Rarely does it ReInvest in the Equipment Brand/Line in New Ideas, Research or Technology to keep it going and Profitable! Let’s go through the List…Allis Chalmers/Agco Allis/Agco, White/Agco White, McConnell/Agcostar, Challenger, Farmhand, Glencoe, Tye, Hesston, New Idea, Willmar, Spraycoupe, Loral, Ag-Chem/Rogator/Terragator. They have quit making certain Sunflower Tillage Products such as the Disc Chisel & Rippers. White Planters they have quit making their Standard/Famous “Positive Air” Planters except for the 6, 8, & 1-12 Row Model, all of the New Ones are Electric Drive/Meters Only! GSI Bins & Products are twice the Cost of Other Manufacturers such as Sukup Mfg.
Ago could have taken the 9565 platform and made it a twin rotor and put a higher hp Cummins engine on it and kept it painted red and kept the massey ferguson name instead they climbed into bed with fendt and just shit on all there massey combine customers. My family has run massey combines since 1965 and in 2020 i never thought it would happen dad and my uncle traded 4 2018 massey 9565s for 4 iH 9250s they both said that there never be a fendt combine in our operation we run the wheat run from texas to canada and farm 6500 acres here in southern minnesota.
Thanks for the comment! No company has taken an existing platform and just added a rotor and hp to it. They needed to start with a new base and build from there. That’s where the Ideal came from. But agree, keeping the 9500 series around would have been nice.
Worst thing Agco did was get rid of the Massey 9500 series combine. Not a fendt fan or a fan of the no steering wheel.
Hey Jack, With Agco NA’s strategy to have Massey and Fendt as the two lines, I’ll agree it was interesting to see them go this way. I’m guessing consolidation of parts was a big thing plus they needed a bigger platform for a higher capacity machine to compete with the X9 etc. The joystick is an option on the track machines only. You can still get a steering wheel. Thanks for the comment! JN
