I agree with you there. There was a brilliant opportunity squandered on this one. Looking at the fact that the first flight was in 1990, and only incorporated into SAAF in 1999, that 9 years could have made a huge difference. A world wide stage was presented in 1994, with the election, the world was watching South Africa, with just this instance, they could have been used it to highlight to possibilities of this machine, gotten more eyes onto it. Hey...but it too late now.

This is so true. The other thing that we see is that when someone does go and fix something, it is not a lasting fix, a month or so down the line that same place is affected, which also shows the shotty workmanship, or...alterior motives for more money. But the only thigh that we can do is to make more noise, hopefully to get the right people attention.
