Warning!! I purchased this lock on Amazon in May 11, 2021. It stopped working two weeks later but was able to reset the device. Early in July it stopped working again and it will not reset. I have emailed the company but they will not respond. Do not purchase this product. They do not stand behind their product and have no service.

Can this lock be installed as a replacement to a mortise lock? In instructions there is reference to mortise lock (with the arrow pointing up instead of to side), but I cannot figure out how to install.
