@ Jay Wadi: Yes, Golf is a great Car, but have some problems with the DSG-Transmission & Turbo ... a lot of problems! I also drive a Golf V Generation, but the Veloster is great! The Interior is much better! trust me

hi guys all my life i have been driving euro cars and yes they look sexy but they fucking break down and when they do the repair cost is min $500 up to $7000 i have traded my 2008 x5 to a hyundai veloster turbo not i dont care about the badge i carr aboit the 8 years warranty not 3 years like the euro cars i payed $34000AU brand new and i rexond it worth the dollar the only time the euro cars a good if can lease them and upgrade them evey 3 years other wise aftet 60000km open your wallet

Volkswagen fanboys would wish stock gti's would do 0-60 mph so they can reach the car shop faster to fix whatever problem after the last problem. Don't get me wrong, I love the drive and style of European cars(currently own a BMW 335i coupe), but what's the point of having an "ultimate driving machine" when u can't even drive it cause its always in the shop?! It makes me wish I bought this veloster instead!

He didn't launch very hard but you can tell that the hard stock tires did squeal. It comes with hard tires to get its 38 MPG rating and they come with a 2 yr warranty. Soft summer tires are an option that will get it down to about 6.4 secs. It has a basement first gear that is more suitable to drag launches. It is not a GTI, it has a suspension for daily driving. The GTI feels like the wheels are welded to the chassis. It's called a Mustang if you want to talk affordable 0-60 times.
