truly a 'dream come true' to be able to pick any spot in the GC and hit the same shot over and over again! This cures the 'boring' driving range sessions because you have a very objective and gorgeous target to make it more challenging. Also, combined with the new 'lie penalties' you can see how the ball responds after it lands when you hit from the fairway vs the rough or sand.

    all the numbers on the board look good stay at your 105 club head speed cause that is plenty fast. stop coming in so steep the one you hit and loved that went the best had the best decent angle at 37degrees you have so much more distance in you with out worrying about gaining more club head speed. swing looks good bro keep grinding

    • @bogeydoctor1975

      I am trying to make this my stock swing. At least that is what the swing coach wants, lest LOFT on impact. I am changing coaches soon, so we'll see what the new one says. Thanks for watching and commenting

      yes...it does get cold in the shed. BUT...also when I am practicing I do like wearing 2 gloves because after 100+ balls in a day my skin gets sore and callused. I am a physician so I have to keep my hands 'soft'

      I am well aware. I’m actually a physician so not entirely an idiot. This is just the tool. I’m using to improve. Even from the same game to same game the score changes quite a bit because of the difficulty of the greens and of course the penalty shots on a SIM are way easier than they would be in real life. But again, this is the tool I’m using. My goal is to be scratch in real golf not at the SIM. I am currently an 8.7 down from a 10.5.

    • @bogeydoctor1975
      @bogeydoctor1975 Місяць тому

      One more thing. I live in the north east so for a few months I won’t be able to play outside. This is how I improved through the winter. And then it’s time to test myself on the actual course.

    I got sick of the 10 thousand different ways to hit the ball from everyone. I switched my swing to the Moe Norman Single Plane Swing. Todd Graves teaches it amazingly. He’s got a UA-cam for the tip of the iceberg stuff but his academy is beyond worth it. No guess work. Pure model that takes the guesswork out of address, grip, and swing. Check him out or don’t up to you either way.

    • @bogeydoctor1975
      @bogeydoctor1975 Місяць тому

      I love the one swing plane and what Norman did. I’ve actually gone to one of these clinics many years ago. I just didn’t seem to grasp all the concepts and since none of the local coaches do this swing plane training it’s hard to improve by just watching videos. One thing I have done is that all my clothes are one length so technically at least I’m doing the same swing.

    • @_K_W
      @_K_W Місяць тому

      @ nice work. It’s developed significantly since then. They also use the coach now app to analyze your swing which is pretty cool. Oddly enough they discourage one length clubs based on the setup. Give it another look.

    • @bogeydoctor1975
      @bogeydoctor1975 Місяць тому

      Great question…I’ve invested so much already I am waiting to recover before purchase. But honestly. There is no need! Once I hit the ball I can look up at the TV and see an image that is brighter and sharper than any projector could match. So for now, using the projector $$$ on actual golf stuff.

    dont mean to crap on your parade but this is something i experience too with sim golf. Launch angle way too high and spin way too low. It's hard to tell when it feels like a good shot. I have a Uneekor eye so i can see ball impact on a camera. Usually what this means is that you caught essentially a flyer. You hit a little behind the ball, popped it up and it hit higher on the face with a more upward angle. Doing this causes minimal spin, the ball went a lot further. You want that 6k spin so that your 7 has more stopping power. Great shot path though!
