New York Subway-Upgraded Turnstile at Wall St
The MTA is preparing to test mobile ticketing on the subway. Hence, a turnstile at the downtown platform of the Wall St station on the 4 and 5 trains has been retrofit with a new reader.

On March 27, 2017, the 53 St station was closed for renovation and reopened on September 8, 2017.
New York Subway - Countdown Clock at Jay St-Metrotech

In August 2016, the MTA began testing new countdown clocks on the lettered lines. In July 2017, the clocks were officially turned on at all R train stations. Unlike the numbered line countdown clocks, which rely on real-time the signal system for location trains, the lettered lines use Bluetooth points onboard trains and at stations to generate estimates.

Indian Railways: Eastern Railway Taken at and in the vicinity of Serampore (also spelled Shrirampur) station on the Main Line of the Howrah Division in West Bengal. Service between Howrah and Bardhaman is split between the Main Line and the Chord Line. Most Main Line trains operate from Howrah towards Bardhaman with many short turning at Bandel. Others operate from Howrah to Tarakeswar and Katwa.

The new 34 St-Hudson yards station on the 7 line opened to the public on September 13, 2015. This was the first public train to depart the station.

Contactless MetroCard almost identical to the ones used in Paris Metro Navigo card where you have to add $1.12 extra due to €1 = $1.12 ( inverse exchange rate is $1 equals 90 euro cents) & London Underground Oyster Card where you end up playing $1.30 extra ( inverse exchange rate is $1 equals 76 United Kingdom pence) over the New York City subway because of the British pound to usd rate which is £1=$1.30.

Over the next decade,the line should be expanded to reach the WTC.Currently,the connection from PATH is much too far for most people.
