I think an interesting idea to do for a playthrough would be to play as a nation that benefits immensely from immigration (like any of the Canadas for example) and try to survive with "ethno state" enacted to see if its possible and to try it for the challenge.

Universities do not actually contribute to literacy, you'd think they would but if you think about it you don't go to a university for your basic education. Characters need to already be literate to work at the university, and pops don't "attend" the university as such they just become more likely to change their profession.

You must be the first to build the Panama Canal (alongside the enabling transport company) and this knowlegde will help you as well with the malaria prevention (next research in line), really necessary to deal with the Amazonian territory. Another suggestion: prioritize the rubber (and coffee) plantations in the construction line, they're quite fast building and will help your budget and the Amazon missions.

Love Your content, I have some thoughts about Your play style. When it comes to Your budget You can deficit spend effectively if You are Great Power and if your income + investment pool are greater than Your costs(as a rule of the thumb). As long as You have pops to work You can outbuild your interest. Being GP is very OP in that way and often it's very profitable to invest in Your prestige. You may cheese it - f.i. be first world producer of fine art and similar goods. Decrease the amount of construction sectors in labour lacking states and use max labour saving PMs. It's better to constantly construct than to house it and construction sectors are cheap to build. Also You are very short on pops - prioritise open border and migration attraction, high earible land, conqueror some high density area in Asia etc.

When multiple puppets join against you in a play, you can add conquer war goals against the other puppets for SUPER cheap infamy cost. That early war vs Peru could have brought you a lot of land.

Some observations: .Why didn't you include "Venezuela as protectorate" as your primary demand against the Netherlands? That was a huge opportunity to finish the process of controlling South America, indeed... .Some current Brazilian territories are still missing: the Paraguayan Mato Grosso (with Paraguay), the Bolivian Mato Grosso and the province of Acre (both with Bolivia). .Please, start researching soon Nationalism! It's vital to finish the Integration Mission (and your time is shorting). 1. You forget about the MAPI, Sean. The *local* prices are high for the Steel Mill state, not your overall market prices. Always go for the 'Stock Exchange' (Society research) as soon as you can when you don't have it. Railways can wait, especially when you build on the coastline as 'Ports' will increase the missing infrastructure for you instead, and the extra convoys are a nice bonus on top. 2. Universities don't actually _increase_ literacy. They just help with qualifications. It's best to use the +25% Capital bonus to strengthen the Interest Groups (Intelligentsia) from built universities in the capital. Usually, you are totally okay with 1 university per state, and then you build at least 20 of them in your capital. To actually *increase* literacy you use the 'Education' institution (you got the Public Education, which is pretty good in your country's case) and the edict you prefer *not* to use all the time - Social Mobility. That means, that building those 5 universities in a God forgotten state was actually wasting your money instead. You increased the wages you are paying your bureaucrats (not a bad thing per se but not needed right now) and you aren't reaching your goal (increasing literacy).
