I’m single/unmarried and childfree all by choice. I NEVER wanted to have a spouse/lover but having children was something I was ALWAYS on the fence about it. During my 20s, I was questioning the whole desire but came to an official conclusion in my early 30s… “I wanna remain single/unmarried and childfree.” Now at 40 years old, I don’t regret my decision whatsoever. Autonomy, freedom and authenticity is ALL I can ask for.

This is SUCH a great topic sis! I think it's very easy to look around and feel that others are overnight successes, but the fact is there is so much beauty in taking the slow route to where you're trying to go! You learn all the lessons needed to ensure that you can stay at the top once you get there!

What I’ve come to realize is a lot of good/great things in life TAKE TIME!! Another example is losing weight - when done healthily, the progress is super slow and not always noticeable then one day BAM it looks like you suddenly dropped so much weight when in reality it’s the consistent work you’ve been putting in for months if not years! Also because it was done slowly, it much more sustainable and you’ll likely keep the weight off rather than if you had done a fad diet to drop weight very quickly which will probably result in the weight coming right back. Loved the reminder that success seldom comes overnight and in moment where it really seems like that’s the case, it’s not lol
