I totally get where you’re coming from. Forgiving someone who keeps hurting you doesn’t make sense… as a matter of fact, it feels unfair. “Why should I forgive them when they’re clearly in the wrong?! They should apologize because I did nothing wrong.” And you did nothing wrong. Your feelings are valid. However, when you hold onto unforgiveness, not only do you have spiritual/eternal consequences, you have physical consequences as well, i.e. heart conditions, etc. Forgiving someone doesn’t make what they did right, it’s relinquishing that right to revenge and giving it to God. Because He is the God of vengeance (psalm 94). Forgiving someone doesn’t mean you need to allow them into your space. There are some people you can only love from afar. Put firm boundaries in place with people who keep hurting you, even cut them off completely (even parents). You must do things to keep your peace. Forgiveness and boundaries is a way to start.

@jianashantel no, a mighty God would never let some humans, that he supposedly created, defeat him and treat him in such a demeaning way. Imagine a GOD being tortured on a cross? A God that created this entire world, being defeated by a bunch of thugs? Doesn't make any sense. Also, why do Christians wear the cross? If your dad died with a gun, would you wear a gun and kiss it everyday? Strange.

@@dimamolla Hi again, you say that no mighty God would let his creation kill him, but according to who? You? God can do whatever he wants, correct? God was spirit, but he came down as “flesh” (Jesus). In the past people had to do animal sacrifice to get their sins forgiven, but the animals weren’t good enough. God required a Perfect sacrifice. Because of God’s love, he sent Jesus down from Heaven to die for the whole world as a perfect sacrifice. The people couldn’t do it, so he did it himself. Jesus was to also teach people how to love, obey God, and repent of their sins. He also healed them and stood up for people who the Pharisees looked down on. Jesus said, “No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again. For this is what my Father has commanded.” John 10:18 He died to save us from our sins. Now, you probably don’t understand this but if you start studying (not just reading) the Bible, beginning with Matthew, you may get an understanding. I suggest a study Bible if you’re interested. And we wear the cross because it’s a reminder of what Jesus did for us. Jesus died in OUR place. We were the ones who should’ve died in our sins, not Jesus. He and only he was completely sinless. He became sin for us and died a sinners death on the cross. We were still sinners and haters of God as he died on the cross, but what did Jesus say to Father God as people mocked and cursed at him?-“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do…” Would you die for people who hated you? That’s what Jesus did.

@@Jellybeancracker Hi! This isn’t meant to be literal. It’s meant to be a reminder to look to God for love instead of “casual relationships” that won’t ever last. It’s God’s love that will last. A lot of “relationships” nowadays are just made to fill a void; that’s a union built on rocky ground.

Lulu’s quality is great too, especially the premium color, but the price is way more expensive. I’d say both KDP and LULU are great. But KDP is more affordable, though.
