You have the best effect for faces that I've seen anywhere on Facebook! Most people just turn on the face and wiggle the mouth. It's very striking to see the animals act when called... the wolf howls... woo-ooooooo!

Addiction affects SO many people/families. Jim & Helen Kurtz - thank you for your bravery in speaking open and honestly for the sake of anyone in need of compassion and support. Several of my family members fight addiction daily. For those of you unfamiliar with addiction, untouched by the hold drugs can have on a loved one, count your blessings, but also open your heart to those who need compassion and empathy. People who become addicted to drugs definitely didn't aspire to have the problem. We all make bad choices in life, things we wish we hadn't done. Try to remember that addiction to drugs or alcohol isn't something anyone WANTS to have. No one would knowingly choose to be held in the grips of something so tough to fight, something that requires such willpower to conquer EVERY single day. I have never been addicted to or tried recreational drugs. I have never had an alcoholic beverage. BUT I do have goals that I don't accomplish - like eating a healthy diet, or exercising. I try to have empathy for drug/alcohol addiction by imagining that, if, on any given day I didn't meet my goals, I would be at the mercy of a drug or alcohol. That's the only way I can try to imagine what it is like to fight drug addiction. Caroline and any other person fighting addiction - Know that there are people who care and are not only on your side, but praying for you to have the strength and support to stay clean. Thank you for bringing this monster out in the open. Our daughter has been fighting this demon for three years and nine months. It has not been easy for her or us, but thanks to all the support she gets from NA, she is doing well. We need to openly support our loved ones who are affected by the disease of addition and show them how proud we are of their recovery.
