I was 13 and had a huge crush on her in 1967.

It's 2024 (I'm 71) and Diana Ross is still number one forever. It was in 1965 when I first saw The Supremes on Shindig and since then I have fallen in love with them

The best live album of the supremes is At the Copa. You can really hear the harmonies. The cd of the album plays the entire show that is longer than the original album from 1965.

This a certified class act. Many memories as a teen, watching these ladies 1960's. I would had like the spot light put on Mary,Flo. Mary n Flo miss you 2 beautiful woman. You two are gems, among the stars in the galaxy. Love you Dave Dave

They should have swapped the vocals around abit, I could see why Florence would have been pissed.

This is what's called a "window dub" copy, likely a bootleg from a loan. The background: Say a television studio is producing a documentary on Motown Records (as several have been made since the 80's). The owners of this show (Mike Douglas) would reply to a request for a copy of this episode from their archives, but they would put a precision time stamp on the copy. The documentary producers would determine which piece of footage within the episode was desired, return to the Mike Douglas archives with purchase order for a clip from the episode from time A to time B, and then the Mike Douglas archives would return with a high definition tape of just the snip, without the time stamp. The initial window dub is a way of presenting the contents of the episode without giving away a copy of the episode.

Lovely performance. I'm so glad that when I see these videos, especially this one that I can simply watch and enjoy and not speak on what I think was going on each Supremes' minds at this particular moment.

It’s great to view this video. The staging was common fir the time. It’s no big deal. Whomever leads a song in any group stands out….Three beautiful women are on stage. Each one is going to be more appealing to someone than the others.

Thanks for adding! “I Hear A Symphony” is my favorite song. The way their harmonies blend together is amazing. I’m not a singer but technically this seems like a challenging song to sing and this song continued to showcase how the group mastered their harmonies and vocals! To me they were all leads as the backing vocals were equal to the lead vocals! They kept each other on point, I love how humble they are! One of the best groups of all time, the music they made transcends time ❤

Prime example of how perfectly Flo and Mary’s vocals sound to round off Diana’s voice. Their harmonies were incredible and never the same after Flo was tossed out.

I know, I know, cannot get the eye's off of Diana Ross, but Blondie's voice is so clear, pure and emotive on the backgrounds it makes you stop watching and start listening.

I hate that they are forcing us to look at Diane, and not the more beautiful Mary Wilson, or Flo but I guess they had to follow Motown orders.....smh

She should have gotten a standing ovation for that performance
