Do SSRI Sexual Side Effects Improve Over Time?
I agree with Tristans point because if you’re 23 and have depression or your sad nobody is going to care therefore you’re going to have to find a way to deal with it yourself and perform at your work regardless.
❤
Emotional decisions can cloud judgment, leading to regret. I agree with the tate's about that.
@@SirZinloos emotions can cloud judgement and rational thinking - 100%
I sometimes have to sit in the waiting room for half an hour before my psychiatrist sees me. And that's fine, because she never ends a consultation based on time, but on reaching our goals.
@@j96569 love to hear she has that approach.
Alright, but this productive clip came up when I was doom scrolling nonsense so....?
@@sambuckel3869 😂 doom scrolling can be accidentally productive!
Super interesting! Thank you!

I’ve been watching a lot of Gilmore girls lately and Jeff you caught my attention because your similarities with Jackson! The chefs husband!
Not familiar, but I'll take it!
Can you make a video on burn out?
Will do! Stay tuned!
So relevant
Sadness is the weather, one rainy day let's say, and depression is the climate, you live in Seattle where it rains a lot every year.
Fascinating analogy!
Sadness and grief are healthy normal reactions when bad things happen. Depression can onset for many different reasons, or no reason whatsoever, and can be disabling. It usually effects your entire life, not just your emotional state. (Heavy grief and depression are very similar and grief can sometimes turn into depression.)
Great definition! Although my opinion is that there is always a reason. Just sometimes it’s very difficult to discover and likely we’re unaware of it consciously.
@DrMikeMah yes, "no reason" meaning no circumstantial trigger. But a mood disorder like Bipolar Disorder or a Chronic Illness can both cause sudden onset of depression without "cause" like sadness or grief. But yes you're correct that an underlying illness is still a cause in itself.
Depression is a sadness that is throughout your body. It’s everywhere it’s a bag of hopelessness that’s on your chest and it’s heavy. It’s despair in your bones.
Despair in your bones. Great metaphor.
My ex husband!
@@carolmorris9449 which trait is relatable to your husband?
@DrMikeMah He totally lacks empathy. Plus he is a functional alcoholic who is on his 5th wife. He points the finger of blame at all of his ex wives. Calling them addicts. So I would say he possesses both traits.
@ thank you for sharing! Wishing you the best.

Certainly some seemingly identifiable narcissistic traits when observing him. Of course as a psychiatrist you never want to cast a diagnosis on anyone without an actual personal/professional evaluation of the individual.

Who's the expressive queen?🎉🎉
Hmmm. Off the top of my head, i'd probably consider self esteem to be the capacity of one's sense of self value and image, that carries them through life activities and behaviors
Love it. Great definition!
What an amazing podcast!! 👌👏
Thanks for listening!
Amazing first episode!
God damn it!
Self Esteem - How you think/feel about yourself. Having high self esteem means having confidence in who you are while also allowing yourself to make mistakes and having compassion for yourself in those moments. Mistakes do not change your worth/value as a person.
🙌🏽
Great questions and feedback!
Self esteem - practice positive self-talk to move yourself to learn your purpose and skills, positive behaviors and love yourself and others.
Self Esteem- feeling strong and confident of who I am mentally and physically

Self-esteem- confidence in who I am and my capabilities

Self esteem - having the confidence to know that I can affect change in my own life whatever I determine that should be.

I have a very weird array of death dates in my graveyard.. I drew for 10 years and then abandoned it in 2023, and then we have stuff i did for a week and gave up on, then there's ideas I didn't even try and gave up on because I told myself it was too hard like knitting and crocheting (RIP, new residents of the graveyard)
Crocheting is pretty easy once you get the hang of it, but once you get the hang of it, you will get bored and again lose interest
No, I’m pretty sure delusion is the thinning out of a liquid by increasing the amount of water that is mixed into it.

People can also stop hobbies after feeling accomplished. After building my robot and learning and enjoying. Why would i have to make another one. Im already fulfilled
Tiktok killed my hobbies. I dont have adhd but i have a hobby graveyard. Painting, 3d printing, robotics, fish keeping, gardening, gaming, resin making, wood working.
Feeling a little attacked right now...
In my hobby graveyard-Rock painting, resin, coloring books, woodworking, jewelry, patches. I keep all of it because one day I’ll go back to it, but never do.
