Community action group. We want to save pristine Pallinghurst Woods at Loxwood, West Sussex from commercial development. This could include a clay pit, waste recyling centre for skip waste from the construction and demolition industry and use of the tromell fines produced as waste for landfill of the clay pits.

Local families and animals enjoy the woods | #StoptheClaypit
Pallinghurst Woods is home to many animals (two and four legged). Some of them have called the woods their home for generations, and more come every single day ! We have such a diverse range of animals and insects that call this area their home, and it would be such a shame to see it all disappear in order for trucks to destroy their natural habitat.

Watch as this HGV with a 6 yard skip, one of the smaller sizes that could be used to bring in waste, drives along Loxwood Road. Can you count the number of times it crosses over the middle of the road on it's journey? Those who use this road regularly know how HGV traffic often drives in this manner.

On-going evidence of active badger setts / burrows in the woodland threatened with development, despite a public consultation webinar statement : " NO evidence of badgers". Who do you believe.....? These setts are very close to the public footpath and bridleway where the HGVs will need to cross to travel to the proposed development site.
