@@briannacarver3580 that was the UI cheats mod! You right click on the needs to change them to whatever level you want. It has lots of other uses too, you basically right click on anything in the UI to unlock cheats for it. I didn't include it here since it's a pretty big mod! Extremely useful though

i actually forgot another from LittleMsSam--- Auto-Employee. Basically, have a door on a public venue lot, and depending on what items are there (the Get Together coffee bar, maybe you've got a guitar or some instrument, busking station, maybe infant/toddler area with toys, food stall of some kind, etc), if you click on the door you'll have an Auto-Employee category on the pie menu. What options show depend on the items there, and you can enable or disable as you please. I swear by it for the food stall vendors alone, but I have a library/cafe lot in Windenburg that auto-staffs courtesy of that mod. During the summer, I enable a busker for the busking station that's outside. But yeah- no more paying for a vendor at a food stall just to pay more money for the food from said stall. lmao

@@kattastrophe7240 Ooh I definitely need that walking faster one, they are soooo slow lol! I will say for the shower towel change thing, it doesn't work on residential rentals (houses and regular apartments are fine) and they stay in the towel for a very short time. Maybe 10 sim minutes. So I always have them walk to their room to change into night clothes right after their shower, but if they get stuck doing something else, then they'll just change back into their every day after a short time. I didn't mention it in the video 'cause I'm not sure if I have the most updated version of the mod or if one of my other mods conflicts somehow. I do need to check out more of Zero's small mods. I use bienchen and littlemssan a lot like you mentioned, but not that many from zero Thinking of the cookbook mod again, I really gotta get mods to tune the spicy food and chopsticks skill. It's ridiculous to me that so many of the non-western foods are considered spicy in the game, even when a lot of them aren't at all in real life lol. My mom shouldn't be dying of spice 'cause they ate some pho 🤦🏻‍♀️

@@brightea I looove basemental lol i can't ever take it out of my game! Oh yes I've hsed those mods combined also, it does make things really hard. I'm currently playing a family where each generation for the past 3 gens have all had PTSD for different reasons and it makes the game really hard 😭 thwir needs go down so fast. One of them makes jewelry so she's started making jewelry to help with her needs lol it helps a bit for her. For the others I do love the extra challenge!

@starstruck_sims I think the most messed up gameplay I had recently was of a celebrity writer, he is a poet and an absolute trainwreck, every book he wrote was titled after a deppressing song that I like hahaha, he married Angela Pleasant bless her poor soul he cheated on her so many times, he has every possible ED, bpd and a bunch of addictions, when she finally broke up with him and I loaded the savefile after so long playing with other families he was drunk having an emotional meltdown in front of her house at 2AM wearing nothing but his underpants and shoes, what an awful sim he is I love him so much

@brightea hahahaha omg I love that so much. We do have a similar playstyle lol sll the drama possible 😅 I love olaying with celebrity sims (and occults...and celebrity occults lol)vand seeing all the drama they get into

@@starstruck_sims I've never tried playing much with occult sims, maybe I should give them a go I have no idea how they work hahaha, I wish I could find some darker mods for messed up dating and friendships, something toxic and dramatic but not necessarily graphic, also if you know of any mods that can make adolescence more hectic I'd love to hear about it in a video or something, I'm used to playing with young adults so this is new territory for me in my latest save file, I appreciate your suggestions, you're the best mod curator I've seen so far

@brightea wow thank you so much!! I'm going to share more mod videos soon and also just general gameplay idea videos. I have some on occult gameplay, but more so for teens! I'll see if I can make more occult gameplay idea videos for all ages! If I had to recommend one of the occults, I'd definitely say werewolves are the most fleshed out with a lot of personality in the game! I'll see if I can make videos on the other things you mentioned too, I'm always looking for new mods for realism and drama lol

@@brightea oooh thanks for these, I have the Choose Leftover one but not the other ones! Would love the tv one especially for toddlers. I also need to get a mod for watching TV together that lets sims watch a specific channel together as a group action lol. The holiday one will be really useful too, there are some of the smaller holidays that I just want to get rid of but I always forget to check for them on the calendar and delete them before they come up again 😅

@starstruck_sims I wish I could permanently delete some holidays in a easier way hahaha opening the calendar is something I do only when I need to go to an event or schedule a birthday or a stay over, I'm too lazy to remember holidays to delete them hahaha

@@brightea that's a really great idea about it possibly working better for teen sims!! And yes completely unmanageable for anyone older. They start threatening divorce after a day or 2 of not being romantic 😵‍💫 Hopefully, in the case of no update, we can at least find a mod to slow it down better in the future :/. I could see like a week of no romantic interactions start lowering their romance meter and then maybe one of them says they're feeling insecure and wants to try to work on things...instead of immediate divorce threat lol!

@@walabang437 same!! Shoe removal being such a small feature in the game but somehow needing multiple mods to make it un-annoying is saying something 😭

@@Madninja657 yes, I always go to the one in the inventory, but it always gets stuck at the very beginning for me for hours (like the progress bar never moves from the very beginning even after like 5 or 6 straight hours on normal game speed), or still starts over :/ Possibly a glitch for some people! Does yours go normally after that? (They could also definitely make it more obvious that it's in the inventory for people who don't know 😅)

@@NoIdleSims Right?? It's way too easy to build up a ton of money in the game lol. I wish things like diapers and baby bottles cost money too so my sims could struggle more. And with the removing lot challenges thing, I pretend they're paying someone to do the house repairs to fix that specific lot challenge! I'm glad you liked the ideas, thanks for watching the video!!

@NoIdleSims I haven't found any mods to make diapers/bottles expensive sadly, but if you find one, please let me know lol! I do use a mod that makes university more expensive, but the in-game calls about payments get really buggy with it (they'll say you haven't paid when you have and then call an hour later after you've already paid), so I had to download a separate fix for that, and now it works lol

I always do that for my rags to riches/all lot trait challenges. Rather than having a random (reach level 2 in career and remove random lot trait) I have set simoleon amounts for each thing, like, if my sim wants to remove the "mold" lot trait, it will cost them 1000 to "hire" mold removers, want to get rid of the grody trait, that's gonna cost ya another 750, etc. It slows the progression of building up their dream home, as all their money is going towards making the place livable first.

@houddythequeen really love this. I'm absolutely going to implement this as well. I have a game at the moment (a SimDew Valley challenge) where I have her living off the grid. I'm getting tired of the challenge and wondering how to remove it without just removing it because i wanted to. I was going to complete a few challenge goals then remove it but it makes more sense for my sim yo have to pay for an electrician and plumber to come connect her to the grid. I'm thinking a 10k job minimum 😁

The alien video might be a long way away unfortunately, because the mod for it is quite outdated and last I checked, is still broken! Hopefully one day 🤞🏻 or hopefully we'll get a refresh for aliens, but I'm not gonna hold my breath for it lol

@@biancabfa A rental property is a great idea too, they could live in Glimmerbrook! I love keeping them at the magic HQ while they're learning magic, it's so fun and immersive. I'm sure there are plenty of Hogwarts builds on the gallery haha! I've seen a lot but they're so massive, I'm afraid of the game lag they would cause lol

@@reginalemoine5809 Great ideas! I use simple living a lot but don't use Filthy that often, maybe I should try it. I usually only put it in run down houses when my sims just move in lol. And yesss to number 4, I love restricting my sims' travel! I have an idea of the world map in my head and my sims can only travel to similar worlds unless they take an actual vacation to somewhere farther away (mods help with this lol)

@@starstruck_sims Yes, that's my system, too. I use Kuttoe's Home Regions mod for this. I couldn't stand it when Bella Goth or Eliza Pancakes would randomly show up in Henford-on-Bagley or Strangerville. It's so immersion breaking.

@reginalemoine5809 Same I hated it! Well, for me, what I hated most was that community lots were just full of my extended sims families and nobody else. It was impossible for my sims to meet random townies. I use lotharihoe's sim spawn overhaul, I haven't tried the home regions one, but they're probably very similar!
