Just picked up a 036 used (that wasn’t running) to add to my collection. -$150 Canadian, and all that was wrong with it was a clogged spark arrestor. Everything is OEM and cylinder/piston are in great shape. Ordered some new caber rings (gap was a bit bigger than I liked) and a few other small things like seals and fuel/oiler lines. Anyhoo, I did a similar porting job on mine, but felt I hadn’t done enough. Thanks for the re-encouragement that the numbers were really good stock with Base Gasket delete. Only real addition I did was to smooth out the lower transfers lips a bit. Now just waiting on the parts, and she’ll be back together soon enough. Cheers mate

I ported one of the G111 clones, and it works ok, but no timing advance nor machine work....I want to get a mandrel for those tiny cylinders. Whered your exh roof sitting at? I know the 201t is around 105ish curious where you put the 200.

661 sounds good. 460 sounds like its low on torque.

Recently got a 028AV-super wood boss from a guy on marketplace, I believe it’s a 1976, ABSOLUTE BRUTE!!!! Truly American made, that saw doesn’t give a shit what you do with it. It gets up and goes!!
