Thanks Chris and yes the bubble has started to burst I think 🤔 that quadtrack might have been 3/400k new and then struggling to get 50/60k for it so no one can afford that kinda depreciation. Jd is prime example a new trailed sprayer is like 140k for some plastic and box section

Yep, Dalham Hall Estates. My dad worked there for 50 years or so. It only covered about 2.5k when he was there but in recent times they farmed about 7.5k. Mark Lake, who managed it retired recently. I can remember when he started! Shiek Mohamed owns the land now. New contractors have been bought in now. Based in Wickhambrook I think. I spent so many happy years on those acres as a kid.

Yeah I like to hear everyone is different mate I really like my fastrac used 90l of diesel for the day which is probably worse than the new Holland I bet. Them new Hollands are definitely cheaper for sure

Yeah poor bloke went to school with my mum and dropped down dead one day so never got to enjoy retirement. Was contract farming a good few thousand acres so done bloody well with the kit they had really. Really sad man’s life work all sold off in a day
