Who we are…
We are a group of people who are ambassadors of Christ Jesus in this city.
Philadelphia Tamil Church is part of Philadelphia International Church - charitable trust board.
What we do…
1) Christchurch is the only city to bear the name of the Lord. We work for the advancement of
the Kingdom of God here by winning souls, sharing his Gospel of Good News and do the groundwork for Holy Spirit’s move in this city.
2)We worship him (Christ Jesus) in Spirit and truth (both in English and Tamil).
3)We bless this City by praying for it and being ready anytime to offer ourselves for the
betterment of the greater Chch community.
4)And as Paul says we help, support, and encourage one another for more edification.
Church timings: Every Sunday
Tamil Service - 8.45 am to 10.15 am
English Service - 10.30 am to 12.30 pm

Have you been a believer for many years but never progressed further. Did God call us just to be believers? No. We are called to be his ministers and deacons. What are the primary qualities of a Deacon - Acts 6 gives the clear picture - Holy Spirit, Wisdom and Faith. Let's learn from word of God shared by Sis Aruna combined with her practical experience.
