United States
Приєднався 15 січ 2024
Here at Amateur Hour Restorations, we are not professionals. We love old vehicles and love to see them back on the road. We also work on our daily drivers. It’s not always pleasant, but after a few busted knuckles and some yelling, the job usually gets done. We do what we know, and try to learn as we go the things we don’t know.

I love how you guys are not pros, but long time car guys. Showing how alot of us do this shit in our own garage. Keep up the good work and ill keep watching😁👀
Thank you, that means a lot. We will try our best not to disappoint
I didn't realize it was that bad
I'm going to try and fix it all.
@@AmateurHourRestorations looking good so far
I don't see a jig , how do you know if it's going back together straight and plumb ?
All panels will be test fit before any welding is done so if anything is out we will catch it.
Really cool of you to bring us along to see all of this great stuff! The cars, the parts.. the stories!
We appreciate you taking time to watch and comment, thank you. Hopefully we can start getting some of these cars done soon lol
I need a charger. Prices are to the moon and back.
Yes they are, it’s ridiculous
Beauty there!!
It really is, and super clean
Man that's a nice stash!
Yes, quite the collection
Got to love Midwest rust ,ask me how I know
Oh, do tell lol. Have one break in two yet?
@ cab/bed mounts , cross members, leaf springs mounts just another day in Wisconsin
@@timothyfechter5977 Rear spring hangers were changed before I bought it.
A lot of awesome cars!!!
Yes they are!
Look at all that. Amazing
I searched for one of these Chargers as far back as the late 80's and never bought one. I found a few, but even then they were over my budget and rough. Getting one this far gone would be more than I would be comfortable with, but I have faith in you guys.
Well, we appreciate the vote of confidence. Thank you! This one is just a little rough compared to the next one we plan to do. They are out there, but you should plan to spend a lot of money. The car itself isn't cheap, and neither are the parts
While you have that trunk floor in place mark the frame rail and spring shackle frame with white marker sos ya know where to drill holes for your rose et welds. Save ya a lot of putting on and off on parts plus get ready for a lot of holes to drilll make them about 1 1/2" to 2" apart.
We will soon as we get the rest of the other panels test fitted. Herbs drilling all the holes!lol!
Nice job guys, looks good.
Thank you sir and thanks for commenting!
Scary for sure, but I got excited watching that trunk panel being laid in place! ❤
AMD panels are the way to go! Nice fit!
@AmateurHourRestorations awesome!
Craigslist rebuild. lol. Good for another 2 years boys 👍
Lmao, if the rest of the truck last that long
Bit of work ahead of you, good progress! That grinder kickback though, gotta love that 😅 03:40
Yes, gets me every time. Hate it lol
You do work when I'm not around!
Sometimes, I do!
Progress is progress, whether talkin off or puttin on lol
@@crazychris1971 One step at a time!
Really enjoy yalls videos, keep on rolling!
We really do appreciate it, hopefully we can keep improving and make it worth your time to watch.
I'm used to drilling holes in the corners with a foresters bit then using a jigsaw... of course it's wood not metal... good job it's coming along.
May try that! Lol!
Nice work straightening that out. Got to love those spot weld, I certainly know that feeling 😅
Thanks, there’s so many
Im in Love,,, haven't been able to find one myself,,,,nice roller
They’re around, but getting harder to acquire. Thank you for watching
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Thank you, I can wait to actually drive it lol
👍👍
Thanks for watching
Nice job, a lot of work
Time consuming for sure
Wow, I'm speechless. Lol
It’s only gonna get worse
@AmateurHourRestorations I know. Still hard to watch. It's like watching your kids go through trials, you know it'll make them better, but it's so hard to watch. Lol
@@cplshakyjakeI know what you mean. But once it starts coming together, it’s a great feeling
Couldn't of did better myself. Sorry i missed the fun.
lol no you’re not
Happy for ya dad!
Thanks son, it is exciting…. One step closer to being able to actually drive it
Drill those wheel well welds from the tire side cause you will need the holes to plug weld the trunk floor to the wheel wells
Yes, Dave caught that after we already did it the wrong way lol
@@AmateurHourRestorations Unless your taking out the tail panel with that package panel out of the way you may be able to put in the trunk floor after ya dress up the frame rails (course don't forget to mark your frame rails and drill out the plug holes)
Sounds like a monster
Gonna be a monster when it’s done I think
What brand are you using for the spot welds ?
Nakao from Amazon. Work pretty good. Even better with a pilot hole.
@ ok , great thank you so much, GOD bless.
You can buff that out !
LOL, I don’t even care about that. Soon as the frame rails are done, I’m driving it all over the place
You know it!
This reminds me of that movie Christine when the car came back in all beat up From a rough night of killing
Be nice if it would fix itself like her.
That’s American 🇺🇸
For sure, one of my favorite
Did you check the air pressure in all the tire... if it's off it may not read level
lol thanks for the tip
To kool!
Thank you and thanks for watching
Nice
Thank you thank you
ITS ALLLIIVEE!!! 🎉 love seeing old dogs given a second chance ❤
Definitely some potential there
By the looks of the battery connections you would think "VGG" had helped you!😂
Use what you have available, thanks for watching Dave
I watch all of them. Lol!
And we both appreciate it, don’t we lol
Sent her a little to much boys
Dave Still struggles a little bit lol
Great job, sounds really good.
Thank you, now if I can just get it on the road lol
Panel by Panel !!!! Great Work
Definitely, slowly but surely. Thanks for watching
In my state you need to have a license plate on every vehicle to drive....
True true, that’s why I didn’t take it out on the road!
That's awesome! Congratulations!
Thanks, working on yours made me want mine running more
Rusty or not, love this car
My favorite
Like i mentioned before, a lot of work but you are guys are doing a great job.
And we do appreciate it
A lot of work, nice job
Thank you

Yeah, took forever to get it to start
You should get you an external electric fuel pump
Probably will eventually
What a neat ride!
Will be one day.
Nice!
