Bin Tac S45 Rear Stock To Tank Change
The O-rings on the AEA 7mm fill probe are 4mm x 7mm x1.5mm thick, just in case U need replacements
nice shootin!
My AEA Megalodon is rated to 4500 psi, but it valve locks until below 4000psi! 3800psi it begins to function as intended. I have even tried shooting it WITHOUT bolt handle, but it still valve locks. I have not shot this gun very many times, so I don't know why it would do this. AND, the first 25 rounds out of this gun did NOT do this at 4500 psi, so the gun worked ok right out of the box! I have 3 AEA air guns and this one is the only one doing this! The gun was not cheap, but maybe it was made cheap! I am frustrated! I don't want to hear people tell me to only air up to 3800psi(LESS SHOTS)when this gun is clearly a 4500psi gun. I don't want a bandaid for a malfunctioning airgun, I want it to function properly!
@@ifeetz7612 have you reached out to the dealer you bought it from?
with only the front tank , how many shoots i get with it
My Megaladon has a front port just forward of the breach, it looks to be the exact same one for the rear tank full probe. I’m doing a leak test so I don’t want to de-gas it. Just wanted to know if that is a fill port for the front tank?
@@AARRAcer yes it is it will fill both tanks if you have the rear one on also
@ good to know, thanks 👍🏽
А где плато?
I have a Bin Tac M50 .50 cal, along with a AEA Element Max (also from Bin Tac) who doesn’t have parts even though he has promised me over several months to send me the parts I need for free despite Imy offering to pay… So why the Fraq would I ever spend more money on the Megladon or ANY other Bin Tac/AEA models when they do not support the models I already invested in?
Where is the hammer spring, and how can I adjust it? thanks
Your gun doesn't have the same problem as mine ! I have a Megalodon .510 15 inch. When I fill to 4500, the slug literally bounces off a 2x4 and lands nearly undamaged whatsoever. I have heard several people talk about valve lock, but that doesn't explain why some megalodons DO NOT have this issue. I have to shoot down to 3800psi, before it operates like it should. Also, people say that higher psi doesn't mean more power? No it doesn't, but it definitely does mean LESS SHOTS, and this big bore doesn't give you that many shots to begin with at full power. Does the .45 suffer less from this than my .510? If it was only a little power loss I wouldn't care, but again the slug bounces off a 2x4 at even 4200psi. IS THERE A WAY TO REMEDY THIS?
Try to order something from his website and it wouldn’t go thru …try calling countless times no answer… drove to location google says the store is and it’s a house …. Waste of time
Can a regular 50 caliber slug fit tightly in the 510? Or if so, can it be shot, or must I get the ammo for the 510?
Thank you very informative
I’d like to know when AEA is going to start incorporating some regulators into their air guns
There was a leak on the front tank
can we change the barrel caliber into 177/ 22?
@atmosumartowismurti5495 no this is a big bore rifle only
@@413Airguns well noted Sir.. Thank for your response.. Stay safe..
What happened to the cartridges? The Gen 1 stuff I have is awesome. The second gen version is the one I got for my mom and all eight of the cartridges slowly leak air and are only useable within ten minutes of charging.
@iankillingsley6486 please keep the oring under the burst disk lubricated will help alot
how did you get the muzzle break to the correct timing? Mine is off by 90 degrees and can't tighten more as I would damage the threads
@mikeliddle9533 thread tape works or you can use a couple drops of breakable loctight
Using a 750fps airgun when firearms are available is like using a CB radio when cell phones are available. The drop in air pressure has to affect the accuracy. I can't imagine having to worry about my AIR running out when shooting. I can accurately fire a homemade 12ga 1.25oz (546 grain) Zveroboy slug at 1500fps for about 30 cents. You?
Many people are not allowed to have a firearm so there goes that theory
What about 750 fps? What is your point? 300+ fpe not enough for an air pistol basically? And yes it will affect accuracy at long range but it isn't meant to be a precision long range weapon is it? I always find it amusing to see some powderburner whining about how much airguns cost or how much better their precious firearms are. Who cares. They are fun to shoot and they are effective in a lot of scenarios. They are unrestricted, no paperwork. Can put on a supressor. You? Also some people buy them because they can. You?
Also, since you are talking about homemade, all you need is air, a handpump, lead and a mould to keep this thing running. You could make slugs or roundball for it for way cheaper than you are doing now, if you want to be cheap.
Use sabots and 357slugs. Itll allow you to use that gun like a within 75yard shotgun slugger or like a 200yard range carbine. My aea s45 throws a 90grain 357 in a 457sabot at 1400fps the 180grain 457slugs are flying around 850fps 300ftlb so ide say with sabots your 400ftlb mega could probably hit 1500 even 1600fps with a 90-100grajn 357slug ina 457sabot. Sabots took my 45cal defender 2 from 65 to 125ftlb. You can even go smaller on the host slug the smallee you get the better the bc and the more penetration youll get but to small and it doesent have the size to get enough mass in the slug. Depending on the gun 257cals a great host because its so small but has slugs avaliable as heavy as 150grains. A 90 to 100grain 257 is gonna absolutely rip through a target at 1400+fps. Even the 357 does amazin and tumbles fumbles fragments expands and leaves a absolutely nasty wound at those speeds. In my opinion from my tests ide argue that the faster lighter 357 with a little less ftlb leaves a wound thats actually bigger and moe violent than the heavier bigger more powerfull 457 solid slugs. Dont nock it till you try it. Its also just fun to take a crazy 45 or 50cal airgun, put a 40grain 22cal slug ina sabot and watch it wizz out the gun at like 2000fps 😂 most times this results in innacuracy but sometimes it actually works and that lead slug just explodes on impact with a soft target its crazy lol
Bullshit. Prove it.
is it possible to use it without the rear tank/stock attached
@@bigdaddyslick4961 yes
As a speciality hunting bullet series inventor, I will say with these types of arms. Where the projectiles are going at under 1000 FPS, the use of hollow point bullets is counter productive. As the hollow pointed bullets do not achieve the necessary speed level for dispensation of the bullet designs potential power into a thin skinned animal. Rather, it is "Solid Lead Flat Nose" bullets that are the most effective for hunting purposes in these higher powered air pistols. My 45 caliber 457- 220/240 and 255 grain Kaido Ojamaa Universal Hunting bullets should work in the 457 Bin Tac M50 version.
Do u have oring kits? Specifically breach oring for the .58. Or do u know the size
How about a comparison and explanation on the stock choices from your web site ordering one of these i see there are 3 choices what do they all mean
Hey Pete, why don’t you take the time to answer to your viewers who took the time to watch your rambling? Not that hard bud. 😉
Can you do a comparison and explain the difference in 457 50 and 510 pros cons on those. Amo availability etc.
It’s great they make all these videos but don’t give a 💩 about answering to their viewers, isn’t it?
@@UnitedStates. yeah, just show the gun and hope you buy from them.
What would be the benefit of going with .510 vs 50 caliber whats the pros and cons of those 2
What about the number of shots per fill?
Hi I'm a Disabled Veteran Marine can you show me the 58cal?
Dang 😮😮😮😮
Hello thanks for the video. Is the stock you adapted standard type? Just remove and put on?
No offense but the lpr is a lot less significant. What was the hpr set at ??
Whats the button /slide knob thing on the filling side of the gun and what does it do?
Hey there I'm from the 413 myself ! I live in Indiana but since the 413 area I sent that big I know lots of people back home. Good to s e hometown boys making great content. Thanks
Im getting mine tomorrow and camt wait. Also from the 413 as well but live in the 317 now. O probably know u or u may know Ayotte construction

@@413Airguns Guess what? I received my .58 megalodon from you even though it was purchased thru someone else , however from now on seeing as tho your the distributor I'll buy directly from u at this point forward. Just wish I knew about u sooner . Regardless I love this thing it's a super badass gun
@@413Airguns Your more towards Connecticut so u probably never heard of the name . Well I purchased a blitz from the same place and it won't charge and I've researched and did everything I could to charge it but just keeps pissing air out . My plan is to call them and send it back for repair my dime because I want the gun anyway . Do u have any suggestions before I do that ?? I've tried about everything except changing every oring on the gun.. advise??
@chandler4749 sorry not a fan of hatsan I dint carry them
AND $$$$$$$$???
Is there any difference between the 15inch and 22inch besides barrel length?
I had to send mine back to the company. I couldn’t even racket and shoot it. It’s a piece of garbage.
I have watched a lot of videos about using these air rifles as self-defense. 45 caliber and below are your best options because of the magazine. For hunting 45 and above because of fpe. When it comes to yards, the caliber fps or fpe don't matter past 50 yds. The drop rate is so dramatic. 50 yds is even pushing it, but it is possible.
But isn’t a bigger caliber better for home protection though?
Those guns are nice but to expensive you don’t need a permit but a real gun is much cheaper
How much can mega be filled from side without rear tank?
Nice! I have been thinking about grabbing this exact configuration
How much sir.
BinTac muzzle break for Element Max And HP Max 457/50/510 M50 S45 does this fit the megalodon as well
can you tell me if this fits the megalodon as well, is the meg a 18-1 thread
Is it real loud,or loud but not too bad
Part of the reason i was interested in pcp is the noise..if i want to take a second shot but you just scared away every animal in 5 miles...I take it its just as loud as a firearm then by peoples resposes ive read...hahaa
I'm not willing to pay what it calls for these a e a guns for all the problems that they have.
My question is. Have a fixed all of their aea problems Such as constantly leaking magazine jams valve pins constantly breaking It all sounds great. But I purchased the s forty five as well as the terminator Both turned out to be crap guns They are literally sitting in my corner, collecting dust. Anybody want to buy them?
