It is best that a horse is given the last act of kindness is better than letting them suffer from pain when they can not walk with out pain and i had to send four of my best friends my horses and two of my dogs on the same day as my two dogs when my four horses time was up they stopped eating and they would not move from my horses while they was in the stable as my best friends could not run or walk in the paddock any more as they would fall over as they had lost nilly all their fat from old age and i could not let them suffer any more

Horses at a certain age can suffer from arthritis and are in pain. Some founder. Some lose the ability to thrive due to loss of teeth. . I dont know what his story is but whatever the prognosis putting him down humanely is better than sending him to a sale. Young Lady Im sorry for your loss. And envious of your time you had with your Friend and Companion. Your memories and knowledge gained from him will help you get through this. ❤

Gosh people, y’all can tell you’re not horse smart. She did nothing to hurt that horse. I’ve been training for years and that’s no different than rough housing and playing with your dog. That 1100 pound beauty didn’t feel a thing from her 120 frame. And for the record, don’t date a guy that don’t want a horse girl. He’s more lame than a 30 year old glue pot.

When we saw that horse we fell in love with him. He was a very frightened underfed overworked little horse. That was years ago. We fed him and trained him and taught him some survival skills, thank God. We sold him to a family with little girls who loved on him all the time . Are you one of those little girls? We thought he went to a good home!😢
