Good call to take your time putting it together. Do some guys make that lower plate wider and run head hold down studs from the base of the block to either head clamps, or to a wider deck plate?

when this happens to me I call it covid parts. seems like anything bought in the past 2 years is crap.

Well, i was wrong on the melted lean pistons, then. I still say the manifold gave the back of the bank too much to work with, tho.

Sure does look nice tho, you were right about that part. Feed your boost into both ends of that intake, that should fix the disparate flow issues, assuming thats what caused your issue.

Melt the back 2 pistons? That intake manifold style's doesnt feed equally, saw it coming ever since it was shown on the table welded to the plate. Too much air to the back pistons, leaned out and melted. That's how it goes on a gasser, anyway.

You're living the dream man, I've always wanted to have a pulling tractor, you made it seem attainable. Building a multi engine modified garden pulling tractor right now, just having trouble getting parts, especially tires. Attaining parts is pretty hard right now. Keep up the good work, awesome stuff.
