      I used usb for control via midi…… it’s also easy if you have midi directly connected as well

    Would this allow me to then have a permanent recording of something I'm getting out of Kontakt/FL Studio using Midi cables with my MPC X? I'm still not 100% sure how to go about recording audio I'm pulling from KONTAKT on my PC via FL Studio. I use my MPC X in standalone mode and have been wanting to be able to take advantage of the pianos, guitars, and other instruments I have in FL Studio. I'm dumb when it comes to INS/OUTS and how to properly route gear in order to take full advantage of their midi capabilities. I'm able to hear the sounds from FL Studio with my MPC, but as soon as I close FL Studio those recorded sounds are gone. I've been trying to figure out how to actually SAVE those sounds within my MPC X project file and was hoping that this "bounce track to sample" method could work?

      Yeah look at using key groups or getting a sample and playing it on the mpc

    This is the combo I've been considering! I got my 707 in 2020 and love it's sound and sequencer, but the MPC One could give me the sampling workflow and pad layout I've wanted. For now I use the 707 plugged into Logic as an interface to record samples and drums. Then I can lazy-chop said samples in Serato Sample and get surgical with the pitch and timestretching. The 707's inputs and ability to do audio insert tracks make it easy to hook up multiple pieces of gear and multitrack record a beat or live jam into Logic that I can cut into loops later

      Wow, that sounds awesome as a workflow, I had a full setup with all my Roland gear plus other going to my Mx-1 for effects then in to mpc one. It’s pretty flexible and works fairly well as the main brain control hub.
