Yellowstone National Park vlog, PT 1: Visiting the Grand Prismatic Spring
In our last vlog, my husband and I landed in Cody, WY for a friend's wedding and today, we're taking you to Yellowstone National Park! We had some time to kill before the rehearsal dinner in the evening, so we drove an hour away to visit a couple of the park's most popular sites.
This week, we're taking you to the Grand Prismatic Spring located in the Midway Geyser Basin. It's so beautiful in person and has a great sense of calm - I suggest a visit to this magical location in your future.

Visiting Cody, WY - AirBNB tour & Exploring Town
Переглядів 84Місяць тому
Follow us to Cody, WY - a small town in the West known for its expansive landscapes, bison, grizzly bears, and nightly rodeos! Our primary reason for visiting was to attend a good friend's wedding (where I also served as her makeup artist). Cody is her hometown and we found it charming, historic, and the locals are very proud of their western roots. For more info on places featured in my vlog, ...

Absolutely amazing views and it's our first time going on a mountain hike! We just started incorporating more nature activities into our routine and the fresh air beats anything else new we've tried. We were invited to do the sunrise hike at Mt. Fremont and we reached the coveted lookout tower you often see on socials (reality vs. instagram is so different). If you're wanting to check out the s...
Visiting Gatorland & Eating at America’s First 2D Noodle Bar!
Переглядів 90Місяць тому
To kill some time before boarding our flight back to Seattle, we joined some friends to visit Gatorland - a 110-acre theme park & wild life preserve nearby. It was quite the site of gators and crocs alongside other animals and it was a good time well-spent. Also, stick around to visit Twenty PHO Hour with us - America's first 2D Noodle Bar! The husbands actually discovered this place while goog...

Last days on Carnival Mardi Gras

It's our last couple of days at sea and my family and I ate to our heart's content! We tried their sushi restaurant on board - one of their specialty eateries - and we were happy with it. It was one of the better ones on board. Plus we did some late night outings - Havana Bar, anyone?! - and attended a Dr. Seuss even for our kids. Debarkation day was a sad and hectic one - a lot of our kids did...

Beautiful ❤❤❤❤😊.
Thank you 🙏🏽🩷
A list of Restaurants for the next time.. Trailhead Bar-Grill.....Sitti's Table(featured on The Food Network DDD). ....Cutthroat Restaurant & Saloon...Thai Thai......The Chamberlin Inn Wine Bar and Courtyard(live music performances).....Shiki Japanese.......Cody Craft Brewing/Wyo Dough(pizza)....WY Thai.....The Colonel Venue (drinks, small plates, and live music).....Bigg Chill Ice Cream🍦...Rawhide Coffee ☕
🙌🏽 This is awesome - thank you! Sitti’s wasn’t too far from our place. I wanted to ear there but we didn’t have time. Hopefully, we’ll be able to eat there one day and try the other places out as well!
Seaside hotel reviews are hilarious! No good hotels there, and every video produced is done by low-income folks on "vacation" who think Seaside is "nice" (you can tell by the music and the way they showcase what is essentially a motel room)
It depends how you look at it too. Seaside, like a lot of places, has its pros and cons. It’ll always have a special place in our hearts because it’s where my older boys wanted to go when they were young. It’s not a place where we’d spend a honeymoon or anything. But like I always say…to each their own.
Im sorry but you don’t look old enough to be celebrating a 20 year anniversary let alone having a son that’s driving age! You have a baby face! OMG, I NEED to look this fabulous when I celebrate my 20th! CONGRATULATIONS 🍾
You are so sweet!! Yes, I’m older than most people think! My secret is SPF and just trying to be good about skincare ☺️ I’m sure you’ll look great on your 20th ❤️
Thank you for this. It a wonderful place. Gatorland has their own UA-cam channel. Run over and give them a like. They are trying to reach 1 million followers by the end of the yr. All proceeds go to Gatorland Global 💚🪖💙
I'm planning to go to Paisley Park for my birthday present next year. I love Prince !
What a great birthday present! Definitely something to look forward to - I think you’ll enjoy your time there 💜
How do you get to do the cooking class? $$, looks interesting
You can sign up online in their app. It’s under their “specialty dining” section and will be available closer to the time of sailing. They’re smaller classes so it’s best to sign up when available.
Great review on the Empress’s Tea
Thank you! 🤗 Glad you found it helpful!
Thank you for the video. New to following your channel, I live in Western Washington as well. Cheers.
Thanks for joining - it’s always nice to connect with a fellow Washingtonian. 😊
It looks really good.
It’s very pretty. The only thing that can take this stuff off is oil of any kind so it definitely didn’t hold up to the pasta we ate that night 😅
Very nice place. Can you tell me who your host was? I m planing a trip in August in the Orlando area. Looking for air b and b.
Hi Pierre! We didn’t have a host - these homes are short-term rentals provided by Windsor Island Resorts in Davenport. I have the link in the description box of the video. You can also google the place, just make sure it’s the Davenport location (there are several in Florida). 😊 I hope you’re able to stay in one!
Looks so fun! We are sailing in October!
I’m so jealous! I was so nervous at first but I loved it - I think you’ll have fun too ☺️ oh just in case you get motion sickness, get some patches for that (I got ours from Amazon). My daughter and husband thought they’d be fine but it really helped them through the trip!
Beautiful Old San Juan . Sorry you fell . Hope you’re better .
It certainly was beautiful - I love how they’ve preserved much of its history. And, thank you! ❤️ I’m all better now - my bruise lasted a couple days but nothing I couldn’t handle ☺️
This is indeed very heartwarming and very wonderful and very beautiful and this brings back such great memories of when I use to be a 90s kid and an early 2000s kid and I am a new subscriber as well:).
The 90s & 2000s were some of the best years for me too ☺️ I’m glad this was able to evoke memories for you. Thank you for joining - WELCOME!
I was there while you was vlogging
You were!? Cool - how’d you like the cruise?
@TheGoodLifewithM I loved it I saw a lot of youtubers and I wanted to ask all of you for the name of your channels but I was afraid to I didn't wanna bother anyone while you all was vlogging and when I saw you video this morning I was so excited cause we were there at the same time and I kinda saw myself when you filmed some of the show when tha performer was on the pole rocking back and forth lol but over all it was amazing
@@leaky781 oh I’m sure the lot of us would definitely welcome anyone saying ‘hi’ - we do a lot of cuts if we don’t get a perfect shot 😁 Glad to hear you had as much fun as we did!
I remember when they were selling all their old furniture. Bargains if you like that sort of thing.
Oh wow that’s pretty cool to own a piece of the hotel ❤️
Nice job !
Thank you so much! So great to have spent time with all of you!
Beautiful video . Is there close parking lot near to the amerucan swedish institute?
Yes, there is. The museum has a large private parking lot located across their building.
Awesome tour of Paisley Park! I love! 💜
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it 😘
How long does it take to tour the entire museum?
There were some exhibits closed but it took a good few hours. I’d say set aside 3…maybe 4 hours. Some people I know stayed almost the whole day.
*Promo SM* ✋
Cool thanks
We went to the cedar restaurant. Service was so slow. I wanted eggs, potatoes and toast. I was upscaled to eggs, toast, sausage and potatoes. I ordered over easy eggs. Well... Food took about 45 minutes. Mine was cold, one over easy egg, the other two broken. Totally burnt hash browns. No sausage, served bacon instead.I was so disappointed. The server jay was nice. Most likely under staffed. But how could you serve burnt food??
Oh no - sorry to hear about your experience…sounds like they’re still working out the kinks. What should’ve been an easy meal to prep shouldn’t have taken so long. That’s frustrating! But burnt food? That’s simply unacceptable. Hopefully, this is just a temporary issue and they work on improving (especially if they want repeat business).
Snob why you can if I wear my sweats
An itch you needed to scratch huh - to each their own 🤦🏽♀️

Yes hope you get to visit them sometime!
hi, where did you get the console table under the Christmas village and tree set? it's such a nice piece of furniture!
Hi there! I bought it at Pottery Barn - www.potterybarn.com/m/products/dolores-cane-buffet?group=1&sku=5300239&pkey=s~console%20table~161
@@TheGoodLifewithM thanks so much
Though it was a short. It was a memorable nice getaway. 😘
Yes it was! I want to go again…I need another getaway 😅 I’m glad y’all came and had fun!
Great filming ❤️ Cheers
Thank you so much - I’m glad you enjoyed it! 😄
What a wonderful house of your husband's family that you can stay over Thanksgiving. Thanks for the house tour.
It was such a great time. And, you are so welcome! Happy Holidays to you ☺️
Troll Mary you cannot even get in my museum!
Your museum? Ok 👍🏽
Luv ur beautiful work.wat is paint color of the room
Thank you! The paint on the wall is by the builder…however, looking at it, it looks fairly close to Sherwin-Williams’ Agreeable Gray in the eggshell finish. It’s like a light, neutral white-gray.
Thanks for taking the time to make this vid. Great to see families enjoying this special town.
Glad you enjoyed it! We’d love to go back…and, yes, I 100% agree with you - Seabrook is a special town ❤️
I love the W! We stayed in their Marvelous suite recently! Your room looks like the Cozy room. Was surprised to see how spacious it looks!
So cool! I’d love to stay there again. Yeah we were booked last minute so you’re probably right - it was a pretty good size and I loved how fun the decor was 🥰
Great Job, professional and informative. Will take the fam next time we visit. ❤
Thanks Michael! I’m glad you found it helpful! Stay tuned for next week’s vlog to Vuong’s favorite place in the entire universe 😛
That SPA is EVERYTHING..omg ong. 🥹🥹🥹
It’s awesome - hope you can fit in a service during your stay! 😊
Traveling to Vancouver in October and have reserved a room here. I’m very happy with my choice. Your video just absolutely made me look forward to my trip. So well done and detailed. Thank you so much for doing this. Happy belated anniversary! ❤🤗
Glad it was helpful! Remember to close those blinds! 😅 Thank you so much for your anniversary wishes ❤️
Dylan and I went there in 2015. I got SO sick on the Clipper on the way there! It kind of ruined my first day. The afternoon tea there was one of my faves!! We also did the Butchart Gardens and the Royal BC Museum. And ate a lot. Lol
Oh tell me about it! Right when we boarded, I felt queasy. Luckily the Dramamine kicked in soon after. And, girl, I think we had the same thing in mind because we did the EXACT same things you did!! 😆
Greeting from Vancouver, WA! We have a Lynx Point Ragdoll named Sky, who looks just like your cat! Love your video about hotel, but the best was to see Roscoe : )
Thank you so much!! We love him so much and he’s such a good, sweet boy. Your Sky sounds so cute - did you name him due to the color of his eyes? They are the most beautiful shade of blue 💙
Thanks for taking me 😊
Of course Suga buga!!
That's such a beautiful tattoo. I lost my nephew 3 years ago and I'm looking for something simple and elegant but forever on my skin. Thank you for sharing your story and I'm sorry for your loss; I can't even imagine what that must feel like.
Thank you so much. Those were definitely hard times for me. I’m sorry for your loss - I hope you find peace ❤️
Hi there! Did you stay at the main building or one of the houses around it? I’m staying at the Palmoro House and I was just wondering how nice it is
We stayed in one of the main buildings (the bldg across from the main entrance). The room was nice but the A/C was really loud so that was a little annoying because it made it difficult to sleep at night. The Palmoro House may be a bit better as far as noises (not sure if the bldgs are newer). Have you stayed there yet? If so, what was your experience?
beautiful ! wanna more subscribers?!later-=)
Very nice experience kiddos love you guys be safe always.Godbless.
Thanks - it was a good trip.
Did this too here in Philly and it’s amazing!
That's great that you had fun! I saw some other review vids and thought it was harsh. We had fun and that's what matters! :)
So pretty!! I wanna try those cookies too!!
They're soft and gooey... I think she won Vuong over. HAHA
just found your channel. love how simple you made everything. question, though. what’s the point of the quilt under the duvet? do you sleep under it or on top of it with the duvet as your cover? also, after the bed was complete, i didn’t see any part of the quilt. was it supposed to show? i also don’t bother with a top sheet. one less thing to wash.
Great question! The quilt is sometimes used on its own but I like to put it on under the duvet just because it can get cold where I currently live and we don't like to always have the heat on. So we sleep both over and under it. We only add the quilt during the colder months. As for seeing it, you can see the duvet slightly on the sides but not so much on the top because of the pillows. You can certainly fold the duvet a little bit lower to show the quilt...doing it this way plays up the layers more. And for the top sheet, I'm not a fan. It seems to often end up crumpled up and somehow shoved to the bottom or side (and sometimes the floor) and this is even when I tuck it in.
in all honesty, no one in my family uses a top sheet. we all use quilt covers. so much easier to make the bed!
Loved your video and all the beautiful work Mari. Looking forward to seeing you this holiday season. Take good care of yourself.
Thanks Cami! You do the same ❤️ looking forward to seeing you in a couple weeks 🥰
Looove!!! And hope you're feeling better <3
Thanks Cathy! I hope you’re doing well and staying warm in this weather ❤️
