@@sudihoops idk if its allowed in pvp. i think its not allowed in pvp. doing things that are contrary to the games design is against the rules. although a lot of people dont seem to care... and get as many people as they can to join them in doing the literal opposite of the games design. back in the day no one used toolbox, and third party clients were pretty uncommon. but suddenly everyone was convinced they need to use third party programs... i dont use them right now

Yeah most "ironman" for guild wars is this. It just bogs down the gameplay rather than making it hard. People should focus on being good at the game first and then take off the training wheels of letting heroes hard carry them. This is just letting npcs do all the work, or it will be come missions like vizunah square.

in terms of manual dexterity, this category doesnt require much skill. its more of a relaxed puzzle experience. ive cut out a lot of footage of me just talking through how to get from A to B most efficiently, and the highlights i edit together dont really communicate that very well. i mean its really hours of me trying to figure out the most efficient way forward. i havent gotten to it just yet but next vid u will see me get to a point that has stumped me for a month. dozens of attempts and i couldnt figure it out. miraculously i was able to get past it recently. if this exact category isnt ur thing i understand. id be happy if it merely sparks ur interest to make a series of ur own with different restrictions that cater to your interests and the play style you like. i mean my hands dont work as well as they used to so this low-intensity style is kind of what i need right now anyway haha. i couldnt do pvp or high intensity stuff right now without pain. 'what guild wars is about' 'playing an outdated game' well im sure uv seen games done quick. they play games from the 80s lol. and the point of series like these is to reinvent games that developers either dont update any more, or when they take games in directions that we dont like. like more grinding content or gambling content. power creep etc. half as*ed storylines. so im just drawing on ideas from other games like runescape snowflake ironman series. as ive shown in the videos, i did discover a lot of niche methods. hiding behind walls or houses to take down rangers. i pulled that sin boss to the edge of his aggro and bowed him down. using shrine blessings as a main strat (i do this later when i have more money). not to mention im also doing this all solo without henchmen or heroes. the last time i played was a few years ago and the only thing to do was pvp or scs. drama or just repetitive stuff. not my thing. so i take the game in a new direction. i mean for me its made the game much less tedious. i use the unlock system to avoid stupid grinds that exist all over the game. again so much of the theorycrafting ive cut out. i mean there's speed chess and there's classical chess. speed chess is a different skill than classical chess. the latter you sit there for maybe an hour contemplating one move. not everyone plays that kind of chess lol. anyhow i appreciate ur criticism. let me know if u ever start up a creative series urself. or if u do a smaller project with just 1 video.

interesting idea. yeah ive definitely set this idea aside, got a lot of other things im working on. but be my guest and improve on the idea. my reasoning was originally that enemies pre nightfall have no (few?) counters to shouts, no way to remove echoes/chants either.

@@saxazax it's super powerful. The first time I did mallyx it was me and 3 other plays doing DPS and one guy threw on 3 paragon heroes and he was HR. No bip heal or ST rit, just 3 para heroes, and we did it with a breeze

iirc i did get a purple or blue armor piece in this run so i 'unlocked' all runes and insignias that way. strict ironman characters would have to find more viable methods of farming runes and insigs yes. but that is less interesting to me, although it is part of the puzzle i guess. i just stay away from all grinds. i think zen daijun will be best since u have togo and vhang actually. minister chos estate is good too. im sure there r other farms that r better for ironman who use skills. maybe mantids outside ran musu gardens.

oh just cuz its cool to play without it showing lol. ive never been able to play like that before lol. yeah like i said in the text screen, i forgot to put my pet away when not grinding. but ive edited out a lot of clips here anyway where at the time i included additional restrictions like not using npcs or traders. but i eventually took those restrictions off since the category became too much of a grind. so.. the timeline isnt perfect. as i said in the other title screen, all mobs here are soloable without the pet at a higher level than i am here, so bringing the pet with me just ended up speeding up the early game. going from memory since ive pre recorded all this, i dont bring my pet with me until ive beaten content solo for most of the content after this point. the category is experimental anyhow, and as it turns out assassin/ranger is the only way to progress past a certain point i think. so apologies apologies i wasnt stricter, but i should be keeping a tighter ship in the future.
